Will the Wave 4 at TRU be the same 4 figures that have already appeared at Walmart? Or will Punk Shock be included in this group? She's the only single figure that's still missing.

Same as Walmart from what I am told. Punk Shock that I know of comes out April 6th at Best Buy in an Easter package.

Think punk aint going show up till the easter set later this month/very early april. Thou, walmart has out the display with the egg one of fryno, punk and springtime trigger so they may comeout sooner.

Bring them on if they are coming out sooner I am buying....

Target has really gotten the shaft here.

Sure they will have Nitro Freeze Blade on Sunday, but they have gotten boned on everything else since the last three swappers (which they screwed up, admittedly).

My Target still hasn't gotten the Lightcore Wham-Shell/Countdown duo, nor the Phantom Cynder/Horn Blast Whirlwind/Hyper Beam Prism Break/Dune Bug/Arkeyan Crossbow/Sheep Wreck Island stuff. I expect they will get the new stuff that has just come out in June or July.

This sucks for me as I live in the city and Target is less than 300 yards from my back door. I'm there pretty much every day getting groceries and baby stuff, so I can say with utmost confidence they haven't gotten any new Skylanders since the last three swappers. Sad.

I saw the Lightcores at Target, but not any of the others.

Nitro freeze blade comes out sunday? Are you talking about the 23rd or this Sunday?

I agree with Vinz above: Target has gone from one of the better Skylanders retailers in the USA (late 2012 through very early 2013) to one of the worst vendors now.

I can't claim to know the reasons behind this change, but I definitely can say with certainty that Target stores have been doing a crappy job of maintaining Skylanders product stock and selection over the past 6 months when compared to all the other major USA retailers.

It's a shame (for Target) in my opinion. Target stores used to be my first choice for Skylanders shopping, but now Target definitely ranks below (*gasp*) Wal-Mart and Amazon. There's no doubt that Toys R Us has taken the lead for Skylanders shopping, by a considerable margin, and that's even after considering the slightly elevated retail prices at TRU.

From what I read online today though, TRU may be in some financial trouble overall. Apparently their 2013 holiday season profits fell well short of expectations, and there are contingency plans being set into motion that will close approximately 100 TRU stores nationwide between now and 2015 ...

Target has been the only consistently good retailer in my area. Being the only place I've seen all of wave 3 on a regular basis.

Toys R Us has mostly been a miss for me this time around, having an overstock of Legendaries and Lightcore Hex instead of anything else. They're the only retailer that has sales, but I haven't been able to take advantage of them because of their poor stock. I've been okay with that, since I don't really care for the "because we can" tax they've put on Skylanders anyway.

Agreed. Target could've done better. My area has had no Swappers for ages.

But... at least it isn't as bad as Mega Bloks' handling of their Skylanders line. There's not a single SWAP Force set at Target except for the average overpriced/overstocked sets.

Are you sure wave 4 is coming out at TRU tomorrow? I called a bunch of TRUs and none of them had received the new figures today and said that if they didn't come in today, Saturday, that they won't be in for tomorrow because none of them receive product on Sundays.

Will somebody please let me know if they see Wave 4 corelanders at TRU tomorrow? I just want confirmation that this was supposed to happen so I know to keep looking. My area TRUs didn't get any in the shipment for Saturday, so I doubt they'll have anything until another shipment comes on at least Monday. Maybe Tuesday considering the incoming snow. Oh Hot Dog.... how you elude me!

I think due to the whole target breach thing over the holidays that it killed much of their spending when it came in terms of where to allocate funds for things like exclusives. They were able to at least get the nitros of freeze blade and magna charge under their belt but i am wondering if they will actually have jade fire kracken. There has also been a great lack of sales from them too this year unlike the last. Toys r us though has been better with their online sales but not by much since they do charge an extra buck on single regular size and about 2 bucks per swaplander. it can add up with the shipping of 8 bucks unless you get enough for free shipping. Though their customer service was awesome for me.

Though I have been able to find the swappers at target and their online delivery of 2 stink bombs to me took only a day with standard shipping and that was a surprise.

The TRU closings are no surprise to me. The one around here already closed so I have to shop online for them as there is no choice there, but the fact remains is toy stores in general are squeezed out due to the fact of walmart and target specializing in everything and TRU is the latest casualty compared to how blockbuster was done in by redbox and netflix.

Just checked the Sunday flier. No Skylanders at all, so maybe it is next week.

Stopped by TRU after church just to see, but there was nothing new there except for a few of the new swappers. Hope they get Wave 4 soon. I'm still looking for Hot Dog.

Stopped by earlier today. They had Trap Shadow and Freeze Blade, but none of the new Wave 4 figures. Grabbed the swaps though.
