Hearing the horn and knowing that victory was achieved, Darin had arrived at the shelter with the others. "Is everyone okay?," the gryphon asks.

I look at Darin. "Well, we aren't really doing anything." I say. "But we're okay."

OoC: Those topics don't have a limit because they're "sticked"- that is, they have a longer post limit and can't be closed, usually.
Also, sounds good, Prex! ^.^ This has to be one of the most successful RPs here...congrats! I swear every time I see your avatar it's a different cycle of pics...do you change every five seconds or something? Lol!

I leaned against the tree, watching the clouds drift around. The villains were destroyed; most evil was destroyed; now what? Do we remain here? Should we work on the shelter? Get food? Yeah, probably that.

I look at Shadmè and my face becomes straight.

"I don't know what to do..." I say, the puzzle glowing again

Darin looked at Derpy and then at the rest. He sort of shrugged, but otherwise remained quiet. As the gryphon stood there, his wings slightly moved from his side... perhaps out of boredom.

I looked at Darin's raised wings. "Are you wanting to learn how to fly?" I ask him.

"Only if we have time.," Darin responds. Though the gryphon was getting visibly more anxious, he was willing to wait if need be.

I looked at with a Are you serious? face and said. "We have all the time we need" I said laughing.

"Then yes...," Darin replied with a nod. "I don't mean to sound anxious but... Once you have working wings... You know...," he added with a slight chuckle.

"Kay then." I said. "Follow me." I start flying towards a clearing I saw nearby.

Darin proceeded to make towards the clearing with haste. The gryphon was clearly excited about what was about to occur.

I laughed at Darin's haste to get going. "Don't worry, you'll be up and flying in not time." I say.

The gryphon couldn't help himself, though he did then slow down and kept more in pace with the dragon's flying. Who knew wings could make one so anxious?

We arrived at the clearing. "Okay." I say "It will probably be a little different for you, considering you're a griffon, but all you have to do is get a light flapping going on, slowly speed it up, then, you just have to feel yourself becoming almost weightless. At least, that's how I do it." I said shrugging. "You try."

OOC: Taking into account my real personality, I wonder how much a fear of heights would apply to this.

Now in the clearing, Darin attempted to do as the dragon specified. The gryphon was still very much on the ground as he started to flap his feathery wings, however, he was starting to rise as he slowly sped up his flapping. As the gryphon's claws started lose contact with the ground, he appeared to be almost nervous for a moment. Yet, the feeling of flying somewhat overcame this as he started to gain some altitude. He looked directly down for a moment and then at the dragon. He wasn't sure how he felt about this, now that he was actually in the air.

I yelled back up "You're doing great!" I said "Now try to move around a little."

Darin nodded, really wishing his own irl fear wouldn't kick in. Off all the possible times, why now? However, he complied and started to move in the air. The gryphon flew forward a little, then proceeded to turn and fly in a medium(ish) circle circle above the clearing. He then hovered in place and did the same thing again, gliding a tad and losing some altitude. He then flapped back up to his original altitude, feeling a tad better about the experience. Fortunately, the gryphon's desire to fly was greater then the user's sudden desire to do otherwise.

I at been awhile, but finally Alvira woje up. I hugged her right away. "I'm happy you are back!"

"I think so..." Alvira said to me.

I laughed (a hanky laugh, or whatever you'd call it, because I can't clap) "Good. Good." I say "You'll be flying as fast as me in no time!" I yell.

"Perhaps," Darin said with a hint of uncertainly. This would certainly take some time to completely get used to. If he was peeking, Rick could possibly see the conflicted thoughts of the gryphon.

I looked up at the dragon "Don't worry, spill get the hang of it!" I yell up. "It's just kind of easy for me because I practically float...occasionally flapping my wings."

"What happend?" I ask, but Alvira seems unable of answering me.
I lower down and hold her hand again.

"True... dragons are practically born to fly.," Darin replied with a chuckle. Gryphons, meanwhile, are partly based on birds. Birds quite literally have to fall and learn how to. The gryphon hovered in place, flapping his wings as necessary. He was getting used to the feeling of being almost weightless and in the air. "So... what now?," he asked.

I fall asleep on top of Alvira, basickly, I was too tired.

I look up, reading the thought about how birds learn, a smirk on my face. "I want you to stop flying." I yell up.

"Very well," Darin says as he slows down his flapping and gently lands back on the ground. He looked at the dragon, awaiting further input.

I looked at Darin. "Instincts Darin!" I yelled. "Allow them to take over!"

I weakly push Ravin off me, and look around. I try to sit up, but collapse.

"Instincts... right.," Darin said with a nod. Of course, like the bird. He then closed his eyes, calming his thoughts and attempting to draw out his inner gryphon. He remained still for a long moment and then began to lift into the air again. Only this time, it was more natural and didn't seem nearly as forced. When the gryphon had gained some altitude again, he had found that he didn't have to focus on his wings nearly as much as before. He felt even more weightless and has nervousness was no longer. He opened his eyes and looked down at Rickorio.

I nodded. "You're doing great!" I yelled "A natural!" I joked.

Darin screeched, perhaps a tad too natural, and flew a larger circle above the clearing starting with shift flying and ending with a equally fast glide. The gryphon then flew back up to its original altitude and screeched yet again. In the gryphon's current state, a reading of its mind would reveal the thoughts of a gryphon but not that of the user within.

"Um...Darin?" I asked "Are you okay?"

The gryphon didn't respond, but rather flew away from the clearing. It looked back at the dragon and screeched yet again.

Thats not good. I thought flying after him. "Darin! Don't you remember me?" I ask.

The gryphon screeched louder and increased its speed. It began to fly back towards the woods.

"Oh no!" I yell chasing after, and catching up to, the gryphon. "Get back here!" I yell after it.

The gryphon starts to glide, losing altitude but gaining more speed. It again ignored the calls of the dragon.

I sighed. Im gonna have to get in close I think to myself, flying towards the griffon.

I started to chase after the griffon and the dragon, but since they were flying so fast they soon became dots in the distance. Sighing and mumbling no no no no no over and over, I soon came across a small shack. I knocked on the door, see if the inhabitants had seen which direction Rickorio and Darin had flown off to.

I have been following Shadmè like a lost puppy because I was not paying attention to what happened. I cross my arms and sigh as I unfold them and become restless.

I just sit here with Ravin in my hands... "I'm so ****ing useless..."

I had somewhat caught up to the gryphon "Almost......there....." I said through gritted teeth "GOTCHA!" I yelled wrapping my wings and long tail around the gryphon, causing us to fall to the ground. This was a bad idea. I thought as we fell.

The gryphon screeched as they fell, in a slightly distressed tone. The gryphon tried to claw the dragon, but to no avail.

I touched my forehead to the gryphon's forehead and sent a surge of electricity, hoping to jolt Darin back into control. "Please let this work!" I yelled.
