I recently went on a trip to see my family, and we went to this great place called Cinergy. One thing that caught my eye was a game called Black Out. This was mainly because one of the prizes was a ninjini(and disney infinity repunzel). I didn't win it. But as mentioned, Cloud Patrol is getting its own arcade machine. Could skylanders be the prizes? Rares? Sidekicks? Have you seen a skylander as an arcade prize before?

I've seen S:SA figures for prizes before. They vanished recently and they've been replaced by other junk. I won the last Boomer they had.
There are supposed to be new plushies, but they seem to be UK-only as of now.

Cloud patrol is a non-prize machine as far as I know.
It's basically a giant tablet game that plays just like the iPhone version. |

I saw a few Whirlwinds down in Redondo Beach back in 2012 in one of their arcades.

They still have Arcades? Such 80s nostalgia...
The only place I see traditional arcade games now are movie theater and Chuck E Cheese.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed. |

Try Dave and Busters in the Concord Mills Mall, or Sports Connection in Ballantyne. Both have lots to do beyond just arcade games, but they both have a very nice assortment of authentic arcade style stand-up and sit-down games. Fun!

I believe the Cloud Patrol machines have been spotted in the UK, they're ticket machines.
I'm still waiting for the prize plushies, they haven't been released yet. |
