So recently tonight, I went to Sam's Club with my parents for the usual grocery run. I checked the Skylanders for any variants, and I see many UK Pegged Swappers... They had some regular US Packaging ones, comparing it to each other, the bottom barcode for the UK ones had a sticker over it with a US barcode, and "If product ordered in US, producer is Activision." Looks like Activision is shipping out AU/UK/EU Skylanders to save money instead of making more...

That or they didn't sell as well in those areas as they thought they would.

They are EU Swappers not UK. Since UK is in the EU and all of EU uses them that means they are European Swap Force packaging not just UK.

The figures are not selling over seas as well and it's easier to just bring them and sell them here. Because they are still hot here.

Just to clarify, we don't have the 2-peg packages in Aus. We have the single-peg ones.

Personally, in my area, it seems my EB Games runs out of new waves pretty fast, but Target orders a lot of restock that just lays on the shelf. Sooo many Scorps and Rip Tides there, plus the SWAP Force double packs. However, there are some figures which are now impossible to find. I haven't seen any Wave 1 swapper that isn't Hoot Loop on the shelf for a while, or many Wave 1 figures in general. I can't seem to find any more Adventure Packs or Battle Packs. One thing, though, is that it seems all SA stock is gone around here. I still see some Giants filler like Single Pack Cynder and Jet-Vac though, which has been lying there since it came out.

I can't really blame people for not shopping at the local Target for Skylanders, because since SF released it seems EB Games is the one getting all the toys first, and I haven't seen anything besides the W2 swappers come out at Target before EB. I never buy Skylanders at Target, because there's no point to me. It's easier to find stock there since they have so much left on the shelf and IIRC they sell toys for cheaper than EB, but they get toys slower, and my EB usually holds onto the toys I want for me plus the price doesn't matter since EB will usually price-match, so mootness. All that matters is who gets stuff first to me. With Wave 3, my EB Games got a restock in after a week, which is before my Target got any of Wave 3 in at all. I haven't checked yet but I get if I go in tomorrow my Target STILL won't have the last toys from Wave 3.

I don't know anything about the figure sales numbers but it seems new stock is hot here, with it being ridiculously hard to get a new figure(you HAVE to get them on release date or wait until a restock), and after initial release it seems nobody is buying figures here and then there are plenty on the shelves. I don't know, but wasn't it supposed to be the same with toys during Giants in the US? Difficult to find at first, then plenty left over. Based on what I've seen, in my area alone, it seems like that's how it is.

Even if I am right on that, regardless, my area definitely isn't indicative of how well the figures are selling here overall. And maybe if they move our old stock somewhere else they can actually sell 'em to people who want them. Honestly, I don't really care if the toys are selling well, because it's not like I can change that, so I don't care for this sales stuff and don't really know how relevant what I'm saying is. I'm just putting out what I've noticed in my area for the sake of it.

After seeing it in person, I do. Helps when you pin them up on walls for collection purposing (the hooks)
