I want to buy trap shadow and freeze blade from amazon.it but I'm in the us.

i know they ship to the us. but how does the system act when you enter in a US destination?

i haven't checked but getting figures from amazon.co.uk has been something else as I recall the issue with punch pop fizz singles not being allowed to be sent to US addresses. That issue could be happening still depending on what is released.

I just tried to order them from Amazon.co.uk and they can't be shipped to the US. Amazon.de on the other hand, can. Question is, when will they put up preorders?

That's unusual, I've ordered things from Amazon UK before with no issue.

As far as ordering from one of the foreign Amazons you should:
Step 1: Use Chrome if you are using one from a country with a language you don't understand (translate features).
Step 2: Create an account with payment info on the US site.
Step 3: Order per normal.

Keep in mind that for the one in Europe (non-UK), the price you will pay is actually a bit lower than the listed price, they subtract out VAT for foreign orders. Free shipping options DO NOT WORK for foreign addresses. Prime *may* work, it has in the past but they have made some changes fairly recently. You get no tracking information unless you use premium shipping. Shipping can take anywhere from a week to longer, depending on if there are customs issues. I had one take almost three weeks and had the corner torn off so they could inspect it.

Once you have all that, go to the next step:
Step 4: Remove items from your cart/cancel your order.

We will be getting these figures very soon, don't waste the money. Shipping is reasonable but your credit card will be charged a conversion fee. I've ordered that way before, but still it will cost too much. Be a little patient. Trap Shadow and Freeze Blade will not be rare, and you might find them on sale. Tons of Skylanders sales this year.

You scan down for the type of item you want to buy... You look for your country in the "Can be delivered to..." column... If it's not there, they won't deliver it to you.

Skylanders come under "Toys & Games and Software", I think, so they will only be shippable to European countries. (Either that, or they count as "PC & Video Games" which is also only shippable to European countries.

What you have to do then is either wait for the actual figures to be released in your country (if you're not in Europe) or get someone from one of those countries to order for you and then ship them on (however, I'm pretty sure the postage cost isn't great)

i checked amazon.it, they ship to the US.

the preorders for trap shadow and freeze blade (march 21st in italy) ship to the us.

So the first half which explained exactly what to do and what to expect to the exact question you asked and it is unhelpful? Or did you just read the last part?

So you are essentially paying 50% more for the figures, and your delivery date will probably be about the time they are in stores here. If you have any sense, the last part was helpful, too.
