I can understand why one would be afraid. It's not always a simple matter of "well, I like both" and jsut instantly being ok with that.

My biggest problem is that my dad has literally said he would disown any of his kids if the liked the same gender and is really hateful about it. I really care about my dad but he's... really bad about that stuff.

My dad's pretty much told me I'm only allowed to marry a white, czech, catholic girl. (He's rather racist >.>) I haven't exactly told anyone irl about my orientation.....

True. We still do get the same ****, but I don't know, maybe I'm wrong just in my mind I would say you can be a little more accept if there is uh...how do I say this...a glimmer of hope? that you still like the opposite gender. Mostly for like, homophobes. Then there are the people who would hate anyway so *shrug*
I was once told that if I came out, I should say I'm Bi first and work into that, and when I think it's stable, say I'm gay.
