Welcome to Xenos, a city located underground in an unknown location. Scientists within the city are finding ways to escape the core that seals the city. Xenos is believed to be located under a valley in Japan. Xenos has a population of 9 million people, making it bigger than New York. Their food comes from farms in the underground area. Reported "earthquakes" in Japan were from the high tech subway system in Xenos.

Xenos originates from 400 AD when a japanese man was sucked into a sink hole. He was underground and lonely. He found an excellent place to grow food, which allowed him to survive. Later, more people were sucked underground. This allowed them to start a population. As more and more were sucked, they started a small town. This became a megalopolis 1,000 years later.

To play, just create a character with the form below. You don't need it approved, you may start playing right away. This form also counts as mine:

"Hello, all! I have come to announce the new Taco Bell in Xenos Plaza. This will open on March 3rd. Thank you!" announced the mayor.

OOC: I guess we're starting then...

Karkat heard the announcement ring through the alleys. He lifted his head towards the old megaphone strapped to the light post above him. He lived in the more poorer part of Xenos. The signal that had just blared through the megaphone had been weak, and he had barely caught the words. He sighs and leans back against the cool stone wall, his head gently knocking against it.
"Guess I better steal myself some lunch." He sighs, getting up slowly.

OOC: My first post will probably be my most beautiful in both length and detail.

OOC: Yup, I guess so.

Elijah, or just Eli for short, heard the announcement all the way at the guard towers by the entrance.
"Man, does he ever talk quietly?" He said, trying to get in a more comfortable position.

Nasaye silently wandered through the shadows in the street, not paying attention to the announcement made. She looked around at the empty part of town, where a few select people lived. She sighed and kept walking.

Karkat walked by an old run down building. He stopped to look at it, admiring the faded old letters of the sign, and the pile of rubble from its collapse. He shrugs then and moves on, slamming into Nasaye when he wasn't looking.
"Sorry." He says, and he keeps walking, not even looking at Nasaye.

The mayor came to the poorer part of the city to inspect the life in Southwest Xenos, the poorest part of the city. He wants to help Southwest Xenos citizens out and get more security there. Crime is also abundant in SWX (nickname for Southwest Xenos).

Nasaye slightly shrugged at the impact, but continued moving forward in her original direction. She walked to the nearest run-down park in the city, and stepped out of the shadows. She rested under a shady tree as she stared at the sad-looking park.

Karkat had reached the more polished parts of Xenos. He gagged at the tall, well structured skyscrapers and stores. He reached a market and slipped inside. When no one was looking, he slipped food from the aisles into his backpack, acted as if he couldn't find what he wanted, and slipped out. When out of view, he slipped a candy bar from the bag and headed back home.
"I think I'll go sit on the roof of my favorite old building while I eat." He says with a small nod.

Bored, Eli looks around the city from his guard tower, trying to find so something suspicious to check out.
"Man, these are pretty boring these days" he said under his breath.

Karkat heard a whistle as he passed the guard tower. A policeman had realized who he was.
"I better split." He says, dashing by Eli's post.

After sounding off his whistle Eli quickly runs down the ladder of his tower.
"HEY!" he shouted in a run after Karkat. "Man, this'll be fun" he said.

Nasaye hears a whistle in the distance and stands up quickly. She mouths the word 'Shoot' to herself and bends the shadows around her, and hides within them and follows the sound of the whistle quickly.

Karkat heard Eli's yell and he silently curses. He draws the shadows into a shield and sword and faced Eli.
"Gonna have to kill him now. That, or injure him pretty good." He growls.

Russ had been checking out a book guide when he heard Karkat and Eli squabble. He lazily lifted his arm, causing a wall of ice to form between the rabble rousers. He then read some more.

Eli drew out his sword from the scabbard and shrugged the shield onto his left arm, and was about to go in for an attack when the ice wall appeared.
"What the.."
Realizing his quarry was given a chance to escape, Eli goes onto a side street.

Karkat looks at the ice wall and grins.
"Wow, a nice distraction." He says, taking off.

Eli was running parallel to Karkat, and saw him on the street right next to his right.
"HEY!" He shouted turning to shade after Karkat, almost getting hit by a car.

Karkat looked at Eli. He stopped. By now, the police had caught up. He was surrounded. He cursed silently drew the shadows into two long swords.
"I'm going duel swordsman." He mumbles.

Eli once again draws his sword and shrugs his shield onto his left arm.
"We can do this the easy way, or the hard way." He said in a dark tone.

"Well this should be interesting." Stated Russ as he made little pillars for the two to stand on. "Have fun up there!"

Eli, in fear, started waving his arms around.
"Woah! How'd this happen!?"

"What? It's a good ol' fashioned fight. Knock tge other off." Russ laughed cruely.

Alvira sit somewere in a pool. "I'm bored" She said.

Karkat nods cheerfully.
"Seems fun, but I like the ground." He says, back flipping off the pillar and landing on a shadowy platform so he landed safely on the ground.

Eli looks at how skillfully Karkat jumped down from the pillar and sighed to himself.
"Huh, this is going to hurt." And with that, he jumped off.

Karkat laughs at Eli.
"I don't know whether I should see if you get hurt, or start running."

Russ would've laughed at Eli, but he had already run to the park.

Nasaye had made it to where she saw the two guys fighting, but remained in the shadows to watch them battle. 'Don't die' she whispered quietly.

Somehow, when Eli landed, he barely managed to not break his legs, think he did stumble for a bit.
"Come at me!" Eli yelled at Karkat brandishing his sword.

Karkat laughed and brandished the two swords.
"Love too." He says. He dashes at Eli and nicks the boy's cheek before retreating back with scarily quick speed.

"Agh!" Eli steps back a few paces, his hand up to his cheek, trying to stop the small amount of blood from flowing out.

"Looks like we're gonna play dirty." And with that Eli goes for a quick thrust toward Karkat's throat, almost without pushing off with his feet.

"Anybody!?" Alvira yells so loud, its hearable everywhere

"I love playing dirty. That's just how we play round here." Karkat sneers. He twists, the blade nicking his throat. Using the momentum of his twist, he thrusts his two blades forward and traps Eli's between them. He then thrusts upwards to try to disarm Eli.

Russ walked throhgh the park, then turned around. He might... maybe.... help.. . Karkat. He thought this over before finally making a hammer out if ice.

Eli quickly duck, in an attempt to dodge the blade, and using the movement, Eli swipes his feet under Karkat, knocking him to the ground.

"Checkmate." Eli says with his sword to Karkat's throat.

Russ sees Eli looming over Karkat. He honestly didn't llike Eli, so he hit him in the back of the head with his hammer. "Hehe. He ain't gonna be down forever Karkat!

"Ugh." I say, dropping to the ground unconscious.
