But what about that screech and crash earlier? Another user no doubt, and probably injured at that. I slinked off to go investigate. The rustling of bushes announced my arrival at the sight of the crash. I noticed that several brown feathers were scattered across the ground, but what really caught my attention was the gryphon that was lying just a few feet away. A frightened yelp escaped my muzzle before I could stop it and I shrunk back into the foliage. Ah, my natural instincts had a tighter grip on me than I expected. Birds of prey are among the fennec fox's main predators, and gryphons definitely fall under that category. So I stayed curled in a ball, keeping a wary eye on the possible user.

At that moment, the gryphon started to wake up from his unconscious state. It sort of growled/groaned in pain as it tried to lift itself up. "Arg... don't dreamers usually wake up from falls like this?...," the creature thought out-loud as it looked down at its talons and at its surroundings. It was still very much grounded, as the gryphon had only managed to lift its head and not much else. To any observers, its right "arm" would appear to be broken as well as one of its wings. The gryphon, however, wasn't even 100% sure he had wings at the moment. He was still adjusting to his new form and only knew that he was currently in alot of pain.

"But on the topic of food, I have no idea what my diet would be. Aside from a few details from a story this... body is from, I truly do not know. So... gemstones, metals and vegetables...?" I truly did not know what my diet would consist of. Gemstones to recha- oh no. What if the gemstones here pertain no magical properties? I slumped down onto my flank, my head drooping. I was doomed, wasn't I?

I havn't said anything after the moment, not that I felt like it either. I just nodded and smiled, but in my head I kept asking myself what I do, who I am... and what the hell is wrong iwth everybody!?

"Ah well..... I don't know but these claws seem good for digging...?" I said, or... mumbled...

I rubbed my head sheepishly. "Sorry." I heard NINJAsk mumble something about how she might be good at digging, and I brightened up. "Brilliant! We could utilize your skills on the shelter as well, if you're okay with that." A thought came to me, and I turned to Tyros again. "If we were to search for gemstones, how far underground would they be?"

"I don't know..... I've not been... you know I don't know hehe..."

I made no comment on the gemstones. I was waging an internal war. Should I call and be called Blackjack? I sort of wanted to, seeing as I had her body now. I really didn- You know what? ***k it. That is my name from now on. But what... but what if I ended up becoming her in the literal sense of it? A small part of me asked myself. I closed my eyes for a few seconds in contemplation before opening them again. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

"Um, excuse me... but could you call me Blackjack? It only seems fitting." I asked, heck. The tone I used suggested I was begging. What was wrong with me? Begging to be referred by a different name? How on earth was I desperate for that? I sure hope this is my brain in here, not her's. Or things will be very complicated.

I sincerely hoped it wasn't. Just some residual... feelings? Memories? That came with the body.

I looked up, closed my eyes and smiled. "That's fine, It wasn't cold or commanding at all!"
I stand up, and walk to icedragon. "Do you know something about me?"
I hoped she'd gave a answer, so I knew a bit more of myself.... Stupid amnesia....if it was that way....

I hear Icedragon, or i probably should say Blackjack now. "Sure." i replied.

I looked to prex, since Black wasn't responding. "Do you know anything about me?"

"Hm...Not too much, as i never got to talk to you that much on DarkSpyro.net..." I replied, wishing that i could help more.

"Dark...Spyro...dot..net?" I wondered what that was, I've never heard of that before, at least... I think so...
"What is that?" I ask, feeling kind of ashamed...

Wait a minute... haven't I seen this gryphon before? What was his name... Darin? Yeah, that's Darin!

So, by that logic, this must be Redwes. Obviously he was injured, and my reluctance aside, I felt compelled to help him. As to avoid startling him, I announced my arrival, acting as if I had just arrived. "Hello? Is anyone here?"

I hoped Prex could give me an answer... but I was too impatient I guess... I stood up. "I'm going for a stroll... be back soon!" I said that, while walking away.
As I walked I kept staring into the sky, sunken in thoughts... I suddenly came across the group with skyhunter and redwes... at least... I think that's redwes.. I'm sure I've seen that thing before... wait? Why do I know redwes and his liking for Darin? What the?
"He...Hello..." I said, in confusion.

"Its a website on the internet NINJAsk." i replied, "You used to be a member of that site, before this happened anyways."

I didn't hear Prextail anymore... I don't even know what the heck I'm doing.....

I peered into the water of the lake and sighed. I needed to... think things over. And by the goddessess I was- what? Godd-ess-ess. Was I really about to! Forget it... just forget it. Move on.

Onto thinking that is... I really don't know anymore, I'm just lost.


I've needed to think things over a lot in the past hour. I hope this does not become a trend in this forest.

My ear twitched as it picked up Ninjask's voice, but I offered no indication that I heard her.

Seeing NINJAsk wander off, I turn and look at Shadme, "Have any idea what we should do now?"

"Who are you?," the gryphon responded to both Ninjask and Sky. As he looked at the two, he now realised that his vision wasn't what it was before. "And what happened to me?," he asked as he started to realise what he was.

"My name is Jake..." I began, "also known as Skyhunter on darkSpyro. I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but this morning I woke up as a fennec fox- my avatar. Some of the other users turned into their avatars as well, and it looks like that's happened to you too."

I curiously wander over to Skyhunter and Darin, though hopeful that i wouldn't scare the newcomer as i silently walked towards them. Darin would be able to see me as i walked over to them, but Skyhunter would have to turn around to see me.

"That explains alot...," the gryphon commented. He tried to flap his wings for a moment, then realising where must of the pain was coming from. "I took a fall on the way here, is it... bad?," he asked as he glanced at the ghost-like figure approaching. He assumed it was merely another user and didn't react any further.

Taking note of his wounds, I alerted him: "Well, one of your wings and, uh... arm look broken there, so we should do something about that ASAP."

"R-Redwes? Is that you..?" I asked, after recognizing the gryphon, it just had to be him,

"I think you need a bath too." I say, as I kneel down with my wings folded on my back. I stick out a claw to Darin. "There is a lake nearby, you can heal and get a bath there." I smile.

That's it, enough moping! I need to get back to... um.... hold on. Get... back... to Skyhunter? No. I need to get to the largest gathering of people, and currently, that is in the direction of Skyhunter.

I rose to my hooves and made my away back to the treeline with a soft canter, much to my surprise. Don't I have metal hooves or something? Anyway, I was entering the treeline now. Skyhunter was in my sight, if slightly blocked by the ghost and a.... was that Ninjask again? I must've forgotten.

I didn't see the broken Gryphon amidst the crowd. So I asked.

"What.." I began before shaking my head, as if to shake cobwebs away. "What is going on... here?" I inquired. Somewhat lost again.

I looked up to see BlackJack again, and moved up so Darin was kinda visable. "I dont know about the others, but I am trying to help Redwes, or, uh, Darin up."

[The J is not a capital.]

"Right, well I don't think we should move anything yet, we cannot assume only arms or... wings? are broken. That is foolish." I announced. We don't want to cause unnecessary pain, don't we?
Yeah, I didn't hear his screech, but I heard the talk of broken bones faintly.

I looked down, ashamed.

"Please, call me Darin and I'm not doing anyone any good just lying here " the gryphon commented. Broken or not, he didn't want to become a burden upon the others

"Then, let me at least help you?" I sticked out my claw again.

OOC: Sorry, I was not feeling too well, what did I miss??

OoC: A couple of users changed forms; NINJAsk into a dragon, Skyhunter into a furry and icedragon into Blackjack. We moved out into the open, and redwes' Darin the Griffon made an appearance. I suggested making a shelter. NINJAsk also got amnesia.

"Whoops!" I ran back to the group from the lake. "Sorry about that; I was sorta lost in thought." I turned to the griffon, whom I recognized as Darin. "Ehe, welcome to the group. I'm Shadmé, ShadowMewX from DarkSpyro. Why don't we help you up, shall we?" I moved around, wondering how I could help. Only then did the thought of derpyhooves enter my mind.
Uh oh, I thought. She's still in the forest! A wave of guilt and fear swamped over me from our last encounter, but I shook it off. I needed to go back.

I walk farther in a direction that I didn't know, suddenly in control of my body once again, but for once, I remembered everything. I sing Boulevard of broken Dreams while I wander around, not knowing a single sign of an exit of the forest.

I ran off towards the forest, hoping that derpy's dark side wasn't in control and making her do things she didn't want to do. Branches and roots tripped me up and tore at my clothes, but all I cared about was getting back. Eventually I came to the area where construction for the base was going to begin, also known as where derpy was last time. Yet she wasn't there.
"Derpyhooves!" I called. I cleared my throat and tried again, louder.
"Derpyhooves! It's me, Shadmé! Where are you?"

Darin accepted the help; taking the claw and managing to get up. "Thank-you...," the gryphon responded. As he now stood back up, he was careful not to put too much pressure on the broken limb.

I keep singing, not hearing SMX's call to me as if I was deaf.

I ran through the forest wildly, branches snapping beneath my feet. A voice was singing somewhat far off, and I stopped to listen. Was that derpyhooves? I walked closer as I tried to regain my breath.
"D...derpyhooves...that you?"

I still sing with blank thoughts. Something was telling me to keep singing.

I push aside some leaves and see derpy slowly walking away, as if in a trance. She continued to sing and acted like I wasn't there.
"Derpyhooves!" I ran up to my friend, but she still refused to acknowledge my existence. So I trotted in front of her, put my hands on her shoulder and stared at her dead in the eye. "Are you okay?"

I shake my head and then rub the back of it with my palm.

"Yeah, why?" I ask curiously

"You...you were walking away from me!" I dropped my stare to the ground and sighed. "Do you know where you're going? I can take you back to the others, I think." I looked up again, eyes bright. "Redwes, or Darin the Griffon, has joined us! You gotta meet him!"

"Uh...." I blush slightly of embarrassment "Sure, I guess...."

I smiled, relieved she seemed to be back to normal for the most part. "Alright!" I took off, trying to walk back the way we'd come. It wasn't too hard because pieces of my cape had caught on various branches and other stuff. "So, ah, what were you up to when we were gone?"

"How do you feel?" I ask, wen suddenly an intence pain shoots trough me. Strange, I'm sure I've felt that before.....
But I tried to shrug it off, hopefully nobody noticed it...

I follow Shadme then shrug

"Nothing important..." he murmur back in response

I can better wander off somewhere and suffer this pain instead of everyone conferming over me again....

I wander off, without saying anything. Then suddenly bumb into derpy.
"Oh... uh....You are?"

I jump back a little then smile.

"Ryou Bakura....but you can call me derpy,"I say, rubbing the back of my head again and laughing slightly.

I've heard that name before, but where.... Must be me being amnesia'd... or not.... What is that strange feeling I have with this person... hmm....

I suddenly see a box Bakura holds, and the feel gets even stronger.
"what's in there?" I ask with a shaking voice.
