I'm going to get a 3DS, and there are a few DS/3DS games that I want to get:

Pokèmon X
Pokemon Diamond
Pokèmon Black
Super Mario 3D Land
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Mario Kart 7

Now, my mom is super strict and thinks I'm too old for those games.
How can I at least try to convince my mom to let me but these games?

Those games? Teens and adults play those games. There's nothing wrong with that whatsoever.

Ask her if she'd rather you play Gta5 or Cod.

Tell her you should be able to play whatever you want. You should play a game because you enjoy it and you think it's fun, not because it's "age appropriate" or something. I have all of those games and I enjoy every single one. Even when I'm an adult I'll continue to play games like that and I don't care what anybody else thinks. And there are adults who play these games, I don't think someone your age is considered too old. Your age is even the target audience for some of them! I'd understand if your mother said you were too young to play games like Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty, but too old to play Pokemon and Mario? Really? And also, why does she think you're too young for this stuff? Is it the bright colors or cutesy characters? It's not teaching you how to count to 10 or say the alphabet like games that you would be too old for. You crush turtles! You capture a bunch of colorful creatures and force them to fight each other! I mean, there's a sword Pokemon that drains the life out of you if you touch it's hilt! That's not exactly something I'd think someone would be "too young" for. And you played Skylanders didn't you? How were you not "too young" for that?

Well, if she really thinks you're a 'big kid' now, then that implies you're old enough to make your own decisions.
