Merch as in "one item" for right now. Target stores are starting to roll out more of their Easter stuff and I spotted a familiar purple dragon on the bottom row with the other baskets.

It's honestly one of the shoddiest looking pieces of Skylanders merchandise I've ever seen. And I've seen those nightmare fuel Halloween costumes. Price tag is $10 on there....guess it could be cool if you have kids or something that really love the series.

Other than that I didn't see any other Easter Skylanders things, but there's a lot of spaces that didn't have anything in them, so I wouldn't doubt more may be coming out. (Especially since the licensed characters usually get some other knick-knacks and stuff to put in easter baskets) I'd say, if those Easter-landers aren't BB exclusive, Target may stick em over here with this Easter stuff; they do this with some of the other franchises too like Lego and Star Wars.

Welp looks like some more stores are starting to put out their Easter Stuff! I happened to be looking around in Walmart today and spied some yellow eggs with a familiar face on them!

Walmart has some exclusive Skylanders eggs that....have tattoos in them. Kinda stinks but hey, I guess its something. Each egg has 40 temporary tattoos, 2 sheets with 20 each with tattoos of Fire Kracken, Stink Bomb, Stealth, Magna Charge, Doom Stone, Night Shift, Washy, Pop Fizz, Rattle Shake, Hoot Loop, Grilla Drilla, Freeze Blade, Eruptor, Boom Jet, Trap Shadow, Blast Zone and the 8 elemental Coat of Arms. Retail price is $1.97. I picked up two and they're the exact same tattoos so there's nothing different about them.



I really like those coat of arms things, I hope we see more of them in bigger sizes. I'd love ones like, poster sized for instance.

I think this is the first time Doom Stone, Freeze Bade and Trap Shadow have shown up in merchandise, so like I theorized with Target sticker book, perhaps we'll be seeing Doom Stone in the next wave?

EDIT 3/14/14: Spied some baskets at Target. Looks like they're a bit cheaper. They're actually really nice and arguably much cooler than the terrifying Spyro ones.

It will look cool if they had a wreaking ball one but My god that looks awful!

Aside from that terrifying Spyro basket, there are supposed to be candy filled eggs.

It's a bit smaller than the previous one they released I believe (or differently shaped haha) and it has a brand new blanket in there, which also looks a bit smaller. It features Spyro's S2 artwork on it. 'Fraid I didn't see a price on them though...I don't think they were all that expensive.

Everytime my Skylander plushie collection is complete they release a new plush that I can't get over here. Curse these high shipping fees.

The first version has claws, no tail club, and a purple S1 blanket.
The second one has no claws, the tail club, and a blue S2 blanket.

Not sure how both Spyros compare side-by-side but those are the most obvious differences.

Yep, they're the ones. Mine has a bit of a derpy face (the right side has been squashed up too much).

I can confirm that at this time the Skylander Easter baskets aren't in the usual Target I go to. It's weird. There's Skylander headphones, smartphone covers, underwear, sleep wear, throws, and so many other things, but not those....

I need that Spyro pillow!

I should note about those new eggies; they comfortably fit most of the core Skylanders. So if anyone out there is thinking of getting some Skylanders stuff for the kiddies, you could probably buy these and stick a Skylander in them too.

Most of the art work is reflected on those tattoos.

Yup. It's all reversed because you press them on your skin and then it makes the reverse of the reverse (so the right way) lol.

Although I didn't see anything good at Walmart, I did find the new Frito Lay contest bags. They have a $5 off Starter Pack, for anyone interested (or those who really want the 3DS starter.).

I found an easter egg watch and a watch in a bag as well as a metal easter bucket. They all were 5 each and I found 4 different Swap Force cups for 87 cents each. Will post pics later to tired now. I should be asleep darn insomnia!

What is that in the middle? Little portal toys?

^ I think I've seen things like those before. The silver band thing around them actually spirals around and you can un-spiral it. A little shop near me has a bunch of them. I don't remember what you actually use them for, though...

The things in the middle are like Easter eggs. Target has different licensed ones (like Spider-man & Batman heads). They're called treat containers. They come 3 to a pack, but they're like $2.50 (at least in my area). Seems a bit high, to me, for little plastic containers, but they're pretty cool.

Edit: in case you're wondering, they don't actually have treats in them.

I've seen the Spyro easter baskets now in my area....but sadly, nothing else Skylanders-related for Easter. They should've marketed some candies for it. What a waste not to!

If I go to ToysRus or Tesco sometime I'll be checking for these.

I've checked Target and Walmart and have yet to see any of the eggs with the stickers. The only thing Walmart had was a metal bucket. However, I did look over at the home furnishings department (bath, kitchen, bedroom stuff) that was across the way and they had trash cans that looked just like the Easter pails. They were $1 cheaper and bigger. They just didn't have the handle. I might get that instead as I'm not worried about the handle.

The UK have 3 different Easter eggs, it turns out. Two of which are in no way Skylander themed except for the box. The third has a bottle with a lenticular design on it (Hot Dog, Spyro, etc.)

Spied those paper Skylanders baskets people have been seeing for the first time at Target today. Looks like the retail price is $6.

I'm so bummed. I've been looking everywhere for Skylanders Easter merchandise. So far, all I've seen are the buckets and the portal shaped treat containers. I haven't found any eggs with tattoos or other small items to put in the basket. I also haven't been able to find any of the Skylanders stuff that others have posted finding at Target in their $1 section at either of my Targets.
