Does anybody know when this variant might be released?

I'm a big fan of the Enchanteds and hope for more in the future

Not sure .... BUT I want it!

I'm going to take a guess that this time around the variants are named for the stores.

We know Nitro is attached to Target as well as Enchanted has already been seen as Walmart. Toys R Us has legendary.

So if anything we might see her at walmart.

She will definitely be at Walmart, no doubt about it. Probably sometime in February or March.

I knew she would be at walmart just don't know when. Judging by the amount of how many enchanted hoot loops are still out, I worry that not until summer time.

Enchanted trap shadow would have been cool. I also would have preffered a nitro roller brawl...or better yet if they made a snowler brawl

In terms of "Enchanted Trap Shadow", yes, nothing ever confirmed, but looking at the video clip Skylander Dad is referencing... I don't think it's completely absurd to assume a Trap Shadow variant. The clip specifically showed "Special Swap Force". Whether enchanted or not, I think there may still be a good chance at seeing some sort of Special Trap Shadow, not necessarily in-game variant. Just take a look at the Gold Fire Kraken that completely came out of nowhere, I'm sure that probably registers as a Special Swap Force.

Anyway, in terms of Star Strike. Seems like the Enchanted prefix is Walmart exclusive so check there in the coming months.

Now watch toys for bob decides to make a wicked thumpback one day!

Just a complete guess of March 1st since Molten Hotdog was Walmart exclusive in game variant and was released March 1st last year.

Heh. Thanks! It's nice that they made them actually fit with their name like that then. If they were just called enchanted but didn't have any "special magic" to their look, it would be a disappointment.

Interesting that as I start to type the word enchanted into Walmart website search, enchanted star strike comes up, however, you can not see it yet. Seems like they created a place holder for it that we can not view yet. This is similar to what happen last year with molten hotdog.

Maybe people have just been searching it so much it's now a suggestion.

They had exclusive right to Enchanted Hootloop so it makes sense.

I'd also bet that it is a search suggestion from frequency of use.

And it also wouldn't surprise me that it is a Walmart exclusive. I'm thinking other retailers wanted in on the "special line" like TRU has had with Legendary since the first game. Target got Nitro (and possibly Jade as well). I'm also thinking Gamestop is going to be the "Dark" retailer going into the fourth game. Legendary has been a huge hit for TRU, it's natural other big retailers want in on it with something that players can associate with their brand.

Best Buy seems to be fine with their one off exclusive every once in a while. They have never really as invested in the Skylander line like other retailers. So far it's been mainly trinket type bonuses or half hearted attempts like Metal Sprocket with the sticker that says "Best Buy Exclusive". It reeks of smaller exclusive fees, other retailers have special fully packaged exclusives with printed labels.

Wouldnt the egg shaped packaging figures soon to be released be Best Buy exclusives?? I mean, they were available only on best buys site.........if they werent packaging exclusives other retailers wouldve had them up as well.

If it was a test, it failed miserably. I still see those on the shelves in great numbers. If you are going to test customer interest, don't use one of the least popular figures with a non-ingame variant.

No, not exclusive. They are showing them off at the Toy Fair. Best Buy just let the cat out the bag early.

@defpally This is assuming BestBuy even knows what's popular. They could've been told "Oh hey, we're making ___ varient. Would you like to buy exclusive rights to sell it?", or saw a list of varients and discussed the cost. It would make sense for them to go for a cheaper one if they're not fully invested in the franchise.

Yeah! Sometimes that can happen. Say that walmart needs 3,000 serches to make it to the sugestions and people serched it up 3,001 times so it made the suggestions.
