Are you ok with being pitied? Maybe you're ok with it only when certain people pity you?
So how do you feel about!

it depends on the situation i guess but i find myself getting frustrated more often than not if people pity me

I normally hate being pitied.

Makes me feel even worse in the situation because it makes me feel useless.

I hate being pitied, it makes me feel weak and less able.

Ummm good question. I would say when I want people too I guess for like stupid small things. But for major things I absolutely hate it. Honestly if you aren't my friend and you come up yo me and apologize or if a friend pays more attention to me because of some event then I will get pissed. Why should you care about me in a certain situation and not give a damn about me most of the time.

I honestly don't mind. I'm not going to get mad if someone decides to care enough to feel sorrow for any misfortunes that happen to me, doesn't matter who it is.

I don't really care. I just let them have fun.

It also depends on how I'm feeling, and somewhat who the person is that's pitying me.

It makes me really freakin' annoyed for some reason when people pity me for something I can or can't do.

No I'm not okay when someone pities me. I am a lot stronger willed then most people think. I get rather annoyed when someone does pity me. All it does is anger me especially if it's my sibling or my friends. Sometimes all I need is a friend to talk to, not pity me because I'm having a rough time. When I help others it's not because I have pity for them it's because I care about them.

I don't really exactly like pity.

After thinking about it for a moment, I realized that the good things I was saying about pity was mostly just describing sympathy, since pity rarely has positive or supportive context to it.

I guess with that in mind I don't like pity. It makes me feel like I'm incapable of doing something and that nothing can be done by anybody else, and also has a sense of disgust or disappointment. Pity can also have a sense of support to it but in that case the person wouldn't have pity for you more than they would have sympathy.

Pity to me means that somebody cares in some way, but either doesn't understand or doesn't really want to bother, or worse yet, is trying to make you feel worse on yourself in some attempt to make you realize something is wrong (when you usually already know something is wrong). Pity is condescending, not reassuring.

I hate it.I am already weak minded and willed and being pitied makes me feel worse.If I cry leave me alone.
