A friend just told me that a Dutch magazine said this is the new game. Anyone else heard this?

WANTED: regular Chompie Mage. Can be loose. We will open and play with it like all of our Skylanders.

Definitely fake. We won't know about the game until PAX Prime or E3.

Or Toy Fair 2014 which starts on Sunday? Skylanders has also had zero presence at PAX other than the room display that PowerA setup for Prime 2013.

Maybe they don't care anymore. Maybe the magic in all skylands can't save us now...not even Flynn's BOOM.

I can take this delay as one of two things:

1. It's gonna be so awesome that they want it to have punch, with close proximity to launch.
2. They are struggling with the game and need more time.

I definitely hope it's #1.

I'm hoping for a third thing: TFB have been given a bit more time to develop it and it will be launched a bit later too. It'd be nice to see them take a bit more time with it, and it'd be nice to have a bit of a longer break from hunting and stuff. Don't think it will happen, though.

Hopefully they can spend the extra time to quality assurance so we get a near-bugless game.
No more mystery save wipes and whatnot.

Weird that they would run that Frito-Lay 100K Scholarship contest so soon without having any details on the new Skylanders game. I'd be very shocked if there was NO Skylanders info at Toy Fair. That just seems odd.

I'd go with number one, if you remember the iPhone was announced 6 six months before the first release to build anticipation, now it's just a few weeks before, so people don't get bored.

Activision will probably do the same for the same reasons - about time too. A month or two wait is good, Swap Force took way too long IMO.

I'd expect some kind of an announcement at New York Toy Fair again as I know people are already travelling there for interviews etc.

Maybe it won't be the name, but we might see something else. Activision are definitely in attendance.
