Hah Hah Time for News!

First off, a new infographic from Activision revealed what I think a lot of us knew already; TFB would be developing Skylanders 4.

You can also take note that the Skylanders series has so far made $2 BILLION (with a B!) in franchise revenue. So, in about a year they've essentially doubled their earnings.

Pretty neat stuff all around.

^ Yeah, it says it came out November '12. It's still wierd how it's further in the timeline than SF though.

Until I see this graphic somewhere on Activision's web site, I have to believe this graphic is suspicious...

I mean...no mention of Universe?

Yeah, this infograph is official, GhostRoaster. They don't have to show every content on the Activision website, they could just send images to certain sites or people - http://www.co-optimus.com/arti...nders-game.html

And they just didn't show Universe.

I notice how there isn't much to say about Swap Force on that thing. I really feel like that is the disappointing game of the series and that graphic only feeds my opinion... especially when they hype up TFB coming back for the new one.

Well nice to see TFB doing the next One. I play Swap Force but I am no fan I would rather play Giants or Spyro's Adv any time. Go TFB you better make it Great!

They need to restate it as "the story as we see fit" instead "the story so far"...

I think so. There was mention in numerous interviews about leapfrogging developers to give them more time. This is not a bad reflection of Vicarious Visions, who did (in my opinion) a fine job on Swap Force.

Unfortunately that's marketing for you! Not saying it's "correct" for them to do it like that, but I can see why they do.

It's an ad, dude - not a hard-hitting historical documentary. iPhone ads don't mention that they're made in Chinese sweat shops and ads for Nestle chocolate don't mention it was snapped buying milk from illegally seized farms currently operated by Robert Mugabe.
A little perspective wouldn't hurt.

GhostRoaster, it's not that big a deal since, like Tel said, it's a documentary on the Skylanders franchise, not a chart that keeps up with the Skylanders games that succeeded and got cancelled during its run.
