Is a shiny shaymin legit?

Well unless you go the event legitly and saved before the battle and reset like a lot of ties and then eventually got a shiney which is extremely rare in D/P/PL compared to gen 6 then it would be legit.

Friggin Golurk does this long animation after he eats, it takes like 8 seconds. I can't even deal with Lugia in this game, he looks like a Noodle Necked Ostrich.

use PokeCheck to make sure they're legit looking, as they won't transfer most of the time actually. Example - Contrary Snivy won't transfer no matter what.

Well yeah. I know what I'm doing. Contrary snivy wasn't put in the 5th gen games so of course it won't transfer. Ima make a perfect keldeo and shiny genesect and stuff

I look at the characters, recognize the girl from the anime, pick her, name her what her name is and play as her.

Emerald = May
Leaf Green = Leaf
Platinum = Dawn
Soul Silver = Lyra

I chose male in Fire Red, Black, & Black 2 though.

I usually use a male with my name. Then on the 2nd one I'll choose the female and name her Stevie.

this is why i never bother battle with people i don't know very well, since there is a high chance their party is full of hacks. while i just raise the pokemon i've had since lv 5-10

I do it too lol. I choose the character design I like best, not just because it matches my gender. I'm refuse to be all 'oh i hate lyra in soulsilver her design is terrible but i will choose her anyway because i'm female'. If I hate a character (like lyra) I'm not playing as him/her.

I had pretty horrid Pokémon, barely any Pokeballs, and no Pokémon that are good for getting legendries down to low health. So, I just gave up on trying to find the legendires in older versions, unless I want to restart them, which I don't really want to do (Yet). Here is a list of the legendries I would like.

Caught my Xerneas with my first quick ball. Not nearly as impressive as when I did that with Palkia in Pearl since they now have critical capture, but still amusing to me as I remember the good old days of battling a legendary until I was yelling at the game as I tossed my last Pokeball.

To get the complete set, you should both have one of each, or find someone who has them already and have 2 Karrablasts and 2 Shelmets that you two can trade back and forth. If you're just looking for Escavalier, then you need to be trading the Shelmet while they trade the karrablast.

Why on Earth did they make Xerneas and Yveltal so easy to catch? Both have a capture rate of 70, whereas other legendaries have a lower capture rate. Palkia (who I managed to catch in a quick ball without fighting in Pearl) has a rate of 30. Rayquaza has a rate of 3. Even Lunatone can be a pain to capture with a rate of 45. I feel bad for anyone who wasted their masterball on these guys. So since the game legendary isn't worth using the masterball, who should it be used on? I still haven't gotten to the 8th badge yet, and I know Mewtwo is somewhere in the game. Are there any other legendaries besides him in this one that I should use it for?

Don't wast it on Mewtwo.

It took me 1 Quick ball and 3 Ultra balls.

Use it on Zygarde or something.

Fun fact: In my SS, Moltres took 1 Ultra, Zapdos 3, and Articuno at around 50. :P
