{I'm only listing stuff in the Classic games but you can do others.}
I'll probably edit this when I've thought of more things that annoy me smilie

What minor things in the Spyro games annoy you to the point you throw your PlayStation at the window? Here's a list of mine that I thought up while watching fail reels smilie

YOTD
-Running towards an open door in Haunted Tombs and it slides shut in front of your face.

-Thinking you've killed all the huge stone monster thingies in Haunted Tombs but there's always that one that hides and hits you when you're least expecting. They like to strike when Sparx is gone.

-Almost finishing a level, then opening the Atlas to see that there's one gem missing.

-Thinking you've killed all the damn Rhynocs that come out of the mushroom hits in Sheila's Alp but there's that one who decides to kill you when your back is turned.

-Missing the cutscene telling you where the magic gem bottle (the one with the question mark on it) is, so you either have to go out the level and come back or spend ages looking for it.

-Doing 4 or more front flips, backflips, rolls or whatever in a row and crashing so you don't get the points. (Super Bonus Round, I am looking at YOU.)

-Hitting the last mole in the minigame Whack A Mole but the club goes right over it and it escapes. They like to play that little trick when you've got 1 second left of the game.

-Chasing a thief, catching up, getting closer and closer, your thumb is pressed so hard on the square button that you think it's going to break, but that blue-robed lemon has the egg you need and have been fighting for for about 10 minutes..and he turns around and runs the other way.

-Crystal Islands Plane Thief chase. The timer runs out as you're getting closer and closer and you fall to your death.

-IMPOSSIBLE ****ING TOWER.

-Hunter beating you in the Lost Fleet skateboard race by one inch.

-Hunter being locked in a cage JUST as you need him. Then Bianca making you think she's letting him go. Then she doesn't. Wtf who does that smilie (As you can tell, I REALLY needed Hunter at this point smilie.)

-Those stupid human/bee/wasp creatures in Spooky Swamp that you cannot get away from.

-Bumping into Sheila when Buzz is rolling around like a moron and he flattens you.

-Dying in the Bad Dwagon! Challenge in Fireworks Factory when all you've got left to kill is a floating head :c

-Playing Ice Cat Hockey, pushing the block of ice towards your goal with much pain and effort and it bumps the edge and flies off to a parallel universe.

Gateway To Glimmer

-Getting to the last tree in the Agent Zero challenge and he magically adopts an eyesight that can see through wood.

Spyro The Dragon

-Not being able to hover
-Supercharging into blue acid (I think in the Dream Weavers homeworld..?

I'll do more tomorrow. 1:22am right now D:

I learned to avoid the frustration with loosing Hunter in YotD by always doing Lost Fleet first. @.@

Spyro the Dragon
- Not being able to skip the credits.
- Having to back track in Wizard Peak to kill those two wizards on the ledges at the beginning.
- The room leading to Damon in Misty Bog that's full of frogs and gnorcs.
- Having to backtrack when finding a key for a chest.
- The enemies on top of the tall platforms in Jaques that you have to glide to kill (near where Unika is).

Gateway to Glimmer
- Agent Zero
- Escorting the Alchemist
- No second ending cutscene after completing Dragon Shores. The other two PS1 games had another ending after completing their bonus levels. When first played it, I was expecting it to end with Spyro joining the other dragons on the beach and telling them about his adventure in Avalar.
- The short time limit that the invincibility powerup has in Skelos Badlands.
- Getting the skill points in the speedways.

Year of the Dragon
- The skateboard race in Lost Fleet, especially because Hunter acts like a jerk when you race him.
- The birds that respawn every time you kill them in Sgt Byrd's section of Molten Crater.
- You're Doomed.
- The second hovercraft challenge in Haunted Tomb.
- SPIKE! smilie
- That rhynoc that hits you with its spear when you try to jump on to a high ledge in Sheila's section of Sunny Villa.
- Having to switch between Spyro and Sgt Byrd in Enchanted Towers to get any hard to reach gems that you missed
- When you're second place in the speedway races and there's no way to catch up to the racer who is first.

Enter the Dragonfly
- The annoying singing you hear in some of the background music (especially the one you hear in the platform peril challenge in Thieves Den).
- The aforementioned platform challenge
- Trying to turn when you're charging.
- The Honey Marsh tank challenge, especially because I find it fiddly to aim at the targets.
- Gliding across those platforms in Monkey Monastery to get to the Riptoc Factory challenge portal.
- Trying to aim the riptoc wizards' magic back at them with your wing shield in Thieves Den.

A Hero's Tail
- Not being able to double jump or charge on ice.
- How it changes from fantasy to tech when you enter the last two levels.
- The Sgt Byrd minigame in Cloudy Domain.
- The Blink minigame in Frostbite Village
- When I miss one or more of the collectables in the ball gadget mine cart section of Magma Falls and I have to go back to the beginning to collect it.
- The first Red battle in Icy Wilderness.
- Not being able to skip cutscenes or character dialogue.
- The small gnorcs that shoot arrows at you.

^ Oh, yeah, since you bought up Enter the Dragonfly... The framerate in that game. I wouldn't say it's a massive issue- compared to other problems the game had, it's really just one of its problem among many, and if the game had been really good I would have excused it- it's just incredibly annoying.
