I'm going to ask this 3 different ways. Explanations and rankings will make this a lot more interesting I think.

Which store do you fell best about giving your money to?

1 - TRU - Yes, they screw up some, online packaging stinks, and they charge more. They have the most sales and best selection by far.
2 - Amazon - I love the way they operate and hope they continue to grow in general. They rarely have sales though and you don't get the in store experience.
3 - Best Buy - I really liked how they handled HD Sprocket exclusive
4 - GameStop - Not the best selection, but the store experience is usually pretty good.
5 - Target - Selection usually isn't good and was turned off with the W3 experience.
6 - Walmart - I'm not a fan in general for reasons not related to Skylanders

Which store have you given the most money to (for Skylanders)?
1 - TRU
2 - GameStop
3 - Target
4 - Amazon
5 - Best Buy
6 - Walmart

If there is another exclusive variant like HD Sprocket, which store do you hope gets it?
1 - Amazon - Again, I love how they operate
2 - Best Buy - Just loved how they handled HD Sprocket
3 - GameStop - They tend to do pre-orders, so I'd feel confident it'd be easy to get
4 - TRU - If they did it online only, expect a damaged box.
5 - Target - They do seem to handle their exclusives pretty well, so this ranking is probably more emotional then logical
6 - Walmart - Same reason as Target

Best stores online

1 - Amazon - Amazon prime allowed me to get a lot of cheap Skylanders with free delivery and next day arrival!
2 - Game - Second best because it does have free delivery but takes longer to come and also the site sucks now.
3 - Toys R Us - Got legendaries from there but delivery fee sucked.
4 - Smyths - Went to the store and got Scorp, Rip tide and Jolly Bumble Blast.
5 - Gameseek - Thumpback took forever smilie

TRU because there the only ones to get/have anything! All others haven't been really stocking skylanders. I think retailers are thinking that is not as popular as it use to be because of the cost investment! With that being said with TRU having the buy one get 40% off is the best deal even if ther $1.00 more than everyone else. Amazon is good for having stock but the down side is that you have to pay shipping unless your a Prime member than it's free.

ToysRUs, mainly because they almost always have the largest selection, and I got two chase variants from them.

Walmart WAS my favorite, but their stock right now is disappointing. I got a Rock Zook from there.

Well, I suppose that for me (in Finland) it has to be GameStop. Out of the 45 or so figures that I have, all but 6 are from GS due to some great post-Christmas sales as well as their "buy 4, get one regular character for free" promotion. Also, in Finland they seem to be pretty much the cheapest source for Skylanders in general.

Amazon seems like a decent source too, but prices are a bit across the board so for example from UK some things are cheaper than from GS but some are the same. DE seems to have cheaper figure prices mostly (especially Swappers), but due to postage orders would have to be bigger to recoup the postage cost. As it is I haven't actually gotten any Skylanders from Amazon, but they're familiar to me with other purchases.

My favorite shop in Windhoek is called Musica

i guess Ebay is second to buy the overpriced rare stuff . Amazon has some funny annoying law that prevents them from selling me anything other than dvd,s and books .

1. Toys R Us - Best selection on offer
2. Asda - Usually pretty good
2. Game - Good, but you'll never find a variant in any of my local stores, if you know what I mean.

I don't order Skylanders online unless there's a good reason (read: special offer).

Stock at all the stores have been horrible.
Think I've spent equal amounts at Target, TRU and Walmart. Ebgames is last.
Target has had the best sells.

TRU consistently has the best stock, but I downgrade them a lot because of their prices.

Amazon is great because you can pay no sales tax and get free shipping with a large enough order, but they don't have the sales.

Best Buy is where I got my big haul this year when they had a B2G1 free sale.

I long for the good ole days when figs were $7.99 each. Oh the memories.

Ive bought everything but starter packs and (obviously) store exclusives at TRU.

Mostly because of green gill grunt. Imagine if other stores had the same promo with an exclusive varient

And even though they have the most expensive prices, they have the best sales.
All the sales were definately a major reason

TRU is great for overall selection, and for the amazing deals on SSA and SG figures. The downside is their markup on SSF figures.

Walmart/Best Buy/GameStop are great for finding harder-to-find figures. Scalpers don't seem to visit these retailers as often. At least not in my area.

eBay (technically not a retailer, but a service) is great for getting those extremely rare figures. Granted, you'll be paying a premium, but for some figures, it's the only way you can get them.

TRU because they are the only ones who have had all the sales on figures and I've bought some at Target, nothing at WalMart

TRU and Amazon are my favorites for Skylanders. They both have the best selections, and TRU has great sales, while I like Amazon for buying online because of the free two day shipping (we have Prime).

TRU-they have the largest selection and often have sales. If they are not on sale and I'm only picking up 1 or 2 I always price match (I got Voodood for $2.49 last week price matching to Game Stops website)

Target-they don't always have the best selection but I go there often (usually to buy groceries and stuff) and have probably bought at least half of my sons collection there. Plus I get 5% off when I use my Redcard. It's better than nothing.

I have probably spent the most at these two retailers equally. I have shopped other retailers, even online but the majority of my purchases were in these 2 stores.

I wouldn't mind Target getting a variant. Only because I go there regularly and would probably have an easier time getting it.
