Before they can think too long on it, 4 individuals, entirely a pitch black like darkness with glowing yellow eyes walk towards them. Each looks like one of the Players. Upon entering the crossing, the shadow versions charge for their corresponding versions and attack them.

I'm gonna be honest, I knew nothing about Kid Icarus and asked Prextail for help on yours..... I just googled, and all NES releases were in the same year.

Japan and US/Europe were different years, but it only got a release on the NES during one year.

The ultimate goal in playing and surviving the Reaper’s Game, a second chance at life. In the event that you would be voted out, you will remain in the game and the voting phase will be nullified for that day. This only works once and lasts until the Final 6.

Week 2, Day 5
Results & Elimination
Forebode

The Players fight their selves and seem quite evenly matched in both strength and speed, as the challenge had noted. During the battle, the pin in Morris pocket starts to glow, just as a punch is about to hit him, he teleports away, reappering behind his opponent.

"What was that?" Morris asks, confused.

"Seems these pins have some kind of special power." BrutalBash takes some from his pocket and tosses a few to each person.

Cynderluv squeezes on one she caught and closes her eyes, bracing for an attack. After a few seconds, she nervously opens her eyes to see lightning striking down her shadow-self. The shadow bursts into smoke and fades.

"Wow... What is with these pins...?" Cynderluv says.

Having watched Cynderluv's battle, ShadowMew decides to try it out herself. She holds the pin close and tries to dodge attacks, failing to a few times. A nearby bicycle starts to shake the more she concentrates on the pin. She notices this and shifts focus to the bike which then launches itself at her attacker. The shadow fades upon being hit, defeated.

Morris continues to teleport around, confusing his opponent. Once the shadow is quite dizzy from circling about trying to find his target, Morris uses a pin he got from Bash, balling the hand holding it into a fist and holding his hand out. A trail of fire moves across the ground from Morris to the shadow, ingulfing it in fire.

With BrutalBash being the only one left, Cynderluv tries to help him, using another pin to fire a ball of energy from her fist at the shadow. However, BrutalBash's shdow seems uneffected by it.

"Don't bother, I have a feeling I have to defeat it on my own." BrutalBash says.

He digs through his pocket and finds one pin holding it close, the ground around them begins to shake causing a light earthquake. His shadow loses balance, but remains. As the quake goes on, BrutalBash praying it does some damage soon, a strange portal opens above BrutalBash. Several large boulders fall from the portal with it closing soon after. After they've fallen, the quake stops, BrutalBash having faded away into static. The shadow, having won, simply fades.


BrutalBash has been eliminated!

The 3 Players are sitting on the ground together, relaxing before their penultimate challenge as participants in The Reaper's Game.

"Did either of you notice anything odd about those pins we used yesterday?" Morris asks the others.

"No? What do you mean?" Cynderluv looks at him curiously.

"Each one performed an attack that was used to... *ahem* remove... a previous Player from the game." Morris replies.

"Great.... At least we know how we're getting picked off now..." ShadowMew buries her hands in her arms.

"What about that teleport one you had?" Cynderluv asks.

"I don't know... I found it where we met DragonCamo. It could mean we were tricked and he might have escaped." Morris says.

Their phones give off a little chime...



"The final challenge? Hmm, this could be good." Cynderluv says. "A good chance, we'll all make it out.

"Or, it'll be crazy harder than anything else and none of us will." ShadowMew replies.

"At least we know where to go and can go where we've been wanting to for awhile now. We can finally check out the 104 Building." Morris leads the way from towards the large tower just ahead of them.
