My Green Riptide came in!

I stopped in Gamestop tonight and saw someone trying to trade in their figures but gamestop doesn't take them anymore as trade ins. So I asked nicely if I can see what they had, so when I looked in the bag I saw a lot of skylander giants figures and I found all series 2 bash,zap,zook,scorpion striker, sprocket and stump smash. Although sprocket and stump smash aren't rare, I still needed them for my collection! Cause I didn't wanna pay full retail for the 2. So I offered them $15 for them and they said ok I was like wow I thought they would asked for a higher price, wish they the cards and stickers but I'm not gonna complain.

Oh lawl I haven't posted here in a while. A while back I picked up Fire Kraken after I hadn't seen him in a while so I could finally do the Bounce areas. Recently though, I picked up the Best Buy Sprocket and then today I happened in TRU and nabbed a Stink Bomb.

I was a bit surprised, my TRU had a TON of the Wave 3 guys in. Seems like they had to have at least 20 of each. They also had some of the new core guys (noticed no Dune Bug, but there was some of Countdown, S3 Whirlwind and such) and the Wave 3 LCs.

My Core Smolderdash, Dune Bug, Sheep Wreck Island, and Arkeyan Crossbow arrived yesterday!

Just picked up the following from the two TRU sales.

Got a Green/Gold Wash Buckler in the mail ~.~

Got a Rattle shake as a gift, and bought a Free Ranger for 9.90

Got Legendary 3-pack from Giants (Ignitor, Slam Bam & Jet Vac)

I finally found all of Wave 2 in one place. (Gamestop.) I was going to buy Night Shift, (I had Boom Jet and Grilla Drilla, and Fire Kraken is coming in the mail.) but then I saw Nintendo Land for 13$.

I recently got a wii u for my brithday, and I figured getting Nintendo Land was a better bang for my bucks then Night Shift.

Also, my Silver Sprocket and Gnarly Tree Rex FINALLY came in the mail on Thursday/Friday. But it's so hard to go back to playing SWA Force for the Wii because of the controls and graphics. I'm used to the gamepad now...

Got Dune Bug at Eb Games today here in Langley BC, they had only 1 left.

I got all the wave 3 swappers at Target!

I bought a silver Boomer and series 1 Wrecking Ball yesterday with cards, stickers and codes for both from a person on Craigslist for $15

That was my first thought. The listing was for a collection of figures (about 20 figures, plus a few location pieces with some magic items as well) + the SSA game and portal. It was a lady I was dealing with and she said she was selling for her son. At the exchange, I talked with her and looked the figure over. She fit the bill of the stereotypical soccer mom, and doesn't seem to be the type that would spend time making a fake. She also had her son with her, who I'd ballpark at 7 or 8 y.o.

If I knew how to post/upload a picture, I have one in my phone and could do so (or PM/email it to Matteo or someone else to post/examine) to see what you think.

Worst case scenario, my son ends up with a second Boomer so he can choose the other upgrade path.

I'm going to assume more then likely its a real one that they bought him during ssa and have no idea its rare. Much like others finding gold chop chop at a garage sale.

@SlayerX11 Does that mean soon we'll have a Youtube series about Skylanders fans trying to find out if their figs are legit and how much they could be worth ala Antiques Roadshow? Maybe we need something like that, since there's so much confusion about it.

Latest from yesterday is Crystal Clear Stealth Elf as part of the Triple Pack, and a Blue Bash. Not sure what to do with the Elf!

The rare figures are all going to plummet as soon as this game ends and the newness is gone. The law of supply and demand. When there's no longer demand the prices will drop. It may be a few years but it will happen.

I wonder if that will be the case with the rare SSA items (e.g. Darklight Crypt, Boomer). Will the prices drop in mid-summer, or will they only go up from here?

As long as people keep playing the games for awhile, the ones that are needed to finish the games/complete the collection will be in the highest demand. It's not as easy to gauge as beanie babies, which didn't have any particular function but being cute. As for the non-essential rares? Demand. Definately demand. If people start losing interest in chase rares, they'll fall off. But the essential-to-completion rares will continue to have some value after. That's my two cents anyway. I have no idea if, like comic books, we find people selling Skylander collections for millions 50 years from now. That would be amusing. I wonder if I'll be protecting my collection for my heirs in the future?

Just got legendary bouncer and lightning rod for 17 bucks after tax at TRU today

I bought a ghost roaster, a wham shell, series 1 dark spyro, polar whirlwind, and a boomer for 21$ after tax at my local used game and movie store. The ghost, spyro, whirlwind, and boomer are extras now.

Rubble Rouser, Spy Rise, and Stink Bomb from Gamestop. The clerk was pretty impressed that I found them, saying they must have just come in. She didn't even know they were there. (Finally! I'm now free from shopping exclusively at Gamestop. I've finally managed to use all my coupons from the Skylanders Adventure Club and I must say, I'm done shopping at Gamestop. They never get new stock, and when they do, they seem only to get the Swappers. I made back the money I spent to join the club and saved an extra $20 in coupons, so I'm calling it quits. It's a bit nerve-racking to have a coupon that's going to expire in a few weeks and to never find any good stock to use it on. So yeah, I'm done. This is the first new stock I've seen since wave 2, and of that wave, I only saw the Swappers and Riptide, so it was getting annoying. But I'll stop ranting now.)

Just found the metallic s2 sprocket at best buy in store. I had called earlier and they said that she was a preorder only, the i go inside the store and find like seven of them on the peg. What's up with that?

Not necessarily, i didn't preorder any for instore yet my store on that sunday had 12 of them at least on pegs.

Ordered the last of what I need from Swap Force except Hyper Beam Prism Break, including Metallic S2 Sprocket, from Best Buy. Oh, now that feels good!

I got it at buy it now 4.00 when in was first posted. I could not believe it. Then to top that I looked at the sellers other items list and got another complete set for 4.00 more I almost passed out with joy and excitement they are do to be here Friday. I love eBay....... I will post pics when they come in.

I really hope you get them I think the seller might have meant $40 instead of $4. Shipping is more than 4 on those. At $4 seller is losing money because after fees and shipping he would lose around $1 on the deal, so I really hope you get them. The cheapest complete SSA Sidekicks set is $79.99 so great job.

Call me lucky, but my wife picked this up for me yesterday as an early Valentine's day present.
