Hi all my wishing we'll did not rest on new year but I've just AT&T forward to the 1st February and back and my well had New Years countdown in there and just won him with 20 stones

That seems to be the fix. But when you get to Feb. 1, I doubt you will get the new alter ego (if there is one).

When you jumped ahead to Feb. 1, did you check the well then or wait until you got back? I finally gave in and tried it, but I checked the well when I jumped ahead to Feb. 1. It put in a tech shrine and stayed that way when I came back. I then realized I probably shouldn't have checked the well in the future. I then tried jumping ahead to March 1 to see if I could get it to work by not checking the well until I got back, but I got nothing. So now I probably not only broke my well for January but February as well, which is why I didn't want to try it in the first place, but I figured I might miss out on NY Countdown and if I have to jump ahead a month every time, I'll deal with it. But it didn't work for me, unless I did it wrong.

The way it works is random from my experience. Unless you own everything, only the devs resetting the well is a for sure thing.

I jumped to feb, did not check the well. Then only checked the well after came back to today. I had NYCountdown and won him.

Whew! I was starting to think i wouldnt have him at all.

So i feel confident my well is fixed and will be ok in 3 days for the real feb rollover. The trick now is to not jump ahead or do anything odd to the time on the device.

So it looks like I was right about the fix and I messed it up and broke the well for February. I guess no NY Countdown for me and probably nothing for February unless the happen to do something in the update to fix it.
