I want a 3DS, but my mom thinks that I'm too old. She said she might let me get it if I save up for it myself...
If I happen to be allowed to get a 3DS, I'd have to think of which one to get, so I'd know how much I'd need.
I like the Midnight Purple one, as well as the Pokémon X/Y bundle, and the Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds bundle. So, that would be two questions:
How can I convince my mom to let me get a 3DS, and which 3DS should I get?
Before anyone says, "Your choice", I don't know which to pick. I like them equally.
And before anyone says stuff like, "Your mom is ignorant", she's just strict.

Yes, that's my plan. But first, I'd need to know which of the three I'd plan to get. |

If you wanna save money, don't go with the midnight Purple. The other two will net you a game.
Pokemon will last you longer then ALBW, trust me.

Why not... Take her to a convention and demonstrate that you're not "too old" for it?

Get the Zelda bundle, the game is amazing and, IMO, more fun than Pokemon X or Y.

Your mom is ignorant. Also, you won't find the X/Y bundle for anywhere near retail price now, as it's nowhere at retail now, and it's about $300 now since it was released in September. As with the LoZ:ALBW bundle, it was highly popular, and most stores only got 1-2 boxes of 6 systems.

As stated above, the game bundles came with special systems and are going to be a lot more expensive. You'd be better off getting a system and then the game afterwards.
As for which one to go with, there is a chart comparing the systems at Nintendo's website. For the most part it comes down to if you want the standard system, a bigger system with a much larger screen and therefore better 3D, or a cheaper system with no 3D at all. |

I remember you said the The Legend of Zelda was one of the things your mother lets you play, so I'd get it with A Link Between Worlds or Ocarina of Time 3D.
And, does your mom think you're too old for the entire system, or just certain games?

Definitely get a bundle.
And I don't think anyone's too old for video games, it's a matter of whether or not you like them, not how old you are.

You can't be too old for video games, people like what they like and there's no stopping that, so tell you're mom that!

Well, I don't know about you, but I always had this handheld game... thing that played Tetris. I would always carry that around on trips, and my mom saw me looking bored as heck playing it, so she got me a 3DS.
