Week 2, Day 1

Three Minutes Clapping

A-East

The Players return to A-East and look up to the telephone wires criss-crossing between the buildings along the street. However, unlike before, a key is not present.

"What? It was here last time. The message said we had to do like before, right?" Ninpire asks Morris.

"Yes. It said this was a repeat of day 6 from last week." Morris states.

"Alright, then I guess split up and search for the key again." ShadowMew says.

The Players split up and start looking through the few shops and the concert hall. After digging around for a few minutes, ShadowMew finds a key sticking out of the front of the cash register in the nearby shop of Lapin Angelique. Upon grabbing it, her timer fades.

"I found it!" She joyously calls out.

HCI, who is rummaging through some aisles nearby runs over to her. She hands it to him, but his timer keeps going.

"What?!" HCI shouts.

"There must be more than one, let's keep looking." ShadowMew says.

The search resumes once more with Cynderluv finding one next from within a vending machine. Morris finds another key dangling from a light fixture in A-East's concert hall. Sky gets one in the jewelery section of a shop. Each key to victory only works for the first person to touch it. Bash, BrutalBash, and HCI find them not long after in various other places within A-East. After awhile, they gather together outside.

"We've searched everywhere, that's all the keys here." Sky says.

"But I still haven't found one!" Ninpire says frantically. His time is running short.

Overhead, electricity surges along one of the telephone wires. The electricity builds up until eventually a bolt fires straight down, hitting Ninpire, electrifying him. His body becomes covered in static which fades away, him along with it. The electricity stops once he is gone.

"He should've still had time." BrutalBash stands shocked.

"There must've only been 7 keys between the 8 of us. It was stacked against us to force one out." Morris hypothesises.

"This week is definatly different, we're going to have to be careful." ShadowMew says.

Scramble Crossing

The Players wake up in the middle of the usual intersection and sit up.

"We're now down to half of us from when we first started. If things keep up like yesterday...." ShadowMew trails off at the end, not wanting to say the words everyone is thinking.

"That doesn't mean we can give up. We have to keep trying. We just have to work together." Though Cynderluv keeps up her usual optimistic attitude for the others, in her heart, hope is fading.

The message with the challenge arrives shortly after. "That might not be an option." BrutalBash says, skimming over it.



The timer appears not long after.

"Looks like its set against us and we don't have much choice. Play by the rules and turn on one another, or refuse to be pit against each other and have the timer kill us." Morris states.

"Either way, sounds like we're screwed." Sky replies.

"We don't have long, I guess we should start the race. Good luck, everyone. To the one that doesn't make it, I'm sorry." HCI says.

The Players line up facing the street to Shibu Department Store and take off.
