Thing1 is superior, you see, due to the fact that it has a number assigned to it equalling "1", which is earlier in the sequence than "2" on "Thing2". This is a key, and extensive difference. It may seem petty, saying something is better just by its name, but names are a integral part of appearances, and people will naturally gravitate towards "1" instead of the lesser "2".

However, you could claim that "2" is a greater number, and is "2" of"1", but "2" is merely a repetition of "1", a copy--a fake, while things like "1" and "0" are far more unique, and in turn, better. Everyone wants to be first, and so, "Thing1" is superior to "Thing2". Thing2 supporters are ignorant.

However, "1" is older than "2" and thus, more likely to be subject to the outdated issues that come with being the impulsive first! Us Thing2 supporters believe that while "2" may merely be a repetition of "1", it is superior because with that repetition there is room to adapt and adjust mistakes that being the first brings upon Things. Out with the old, in with the new--you cannot get in the way of progress, eventually, Thing3 will appear.

No, no, I suppose I should've been more careful with my wording. Thing2 has better SUPPORTERS, who instead of wanting to be first, would rather come in second--at a glance, "1" seems better, but with thought, many will gravitate towards "2" in a fear of extremism, and spotlight.

We can follow "Things", but "Things" do not always last--would you like to fall with it? There is always an end, you might as well control your own.
