Actually, those sort of are the sounds that a fox makes. Sort of. I mean a cow doesn't really say 'moo' and a sheep doesn't really say 'baa'. But insofar as these words ever sound like the real animal's, the Fox Song gets many of them right...

Fun additional fact: Different countries have different words for the noises animals make.
For cats we have Meow. Japan has Nyan. Swedish people have Mjau.

Any one of the sounds from that video could be 'right' - we just have to pick one.

What annoys me the most is how popular it got...

I don't listen to any conventional music. Of the songs I DID have the misfortune of listening to, that "Blurred Lines" (don't know if that's the name) one was terrible. And the radio played it 4 or 5 times a day, which only made it about 30 times worse. <.<

From what I've heard (which isn't much but still):

Roar - Katy Perry (i like the message behind it, just... not the way she sings it. i'm not a fan of the rhythm)
Royals - Lorde
Wrecking Ball - Miley Cyrus (ignoring the music video i thought the lyrics and message was nice, but i don't like the way miley cyrus sings it. sorry, i just think she sounds terrible)

pretty much how i feel about it, i think it deserves the spot as worst song of 2013 unless i'm forgetting some other worse song

I really don't know. This year was mediocre all around, especially when compared to 2012. But I wouldn't say that there were any truly terrible songs out there this year, compared with last year's Birthday Cake or Want U Back.

I suppose if I had to choose something I'd go with Blurred Lines. The lyrics imply being overtly sexual to the point of harassment or rape, the beat is simple to the point of being boring, and it stopped Get Lucky from ever being #1, so I have a grudge against it.

Blurred lines definately, and I'd say Royals too. The song itself I'm indifferent too, but she's from New Zealand, and so the media will not shut up about her. Every time she breathes there's a news article about it. Like I understand it's nice to have someone from here get famous in the music industry but is this really neccessary?
