Jay glared at the spirit. "Alright, I've had enough of this stupid ghost. What the heck do you even want!" Jay yelled

Xander crumpled, now unable to stand. His throat was slit.

The spirit grins with bluish fangs.
"Your boyfriend told you about his curse, didn't he? I'm the one who carries it out."

Drake attempts to attack the monster.

"Well why the heck did he get cursed. I'll let yo take my life if you tell me everything. I won't die until I know everything that's going on" Jay said stubbornly

The spirit looked interested.
"You'll just give up your life?"

Xander looked at Jay with wide eyes.
"Jay. No." he whimpered. "I can't lose you. I'll kill myself if you die." he said to her, tearing up.

"Only if you tell me every little detail about what's going on" Jay said to the spirit. "Then I'll give you my life. Simple."

The spirit laughed.
"My, that sounds like a deal."

Xander looked away. He couldn't look at Jay any longer.

"So, do you agree?" Jay asks, her usual smile upon her face

The spirit looks at Jay cautiously.
"I sense a catch. I'm not easily outwitted. Do tell me. Must I tell a story, or will you be asking questions?"

"No catch at all" Jay assured solemnly. "And a story would be preferred, but I can ask questions if you wish"

OOC: I didn't want to get outwitted really easily, so I sat all night planning this out.

The spirit nods.
"Then you will ask questions during the story. I will tell it bit by bit. Deal?"

OOC: !

"Sounds fine to me" Jay said with a nod.

"I hope you know what you're doing," exclaimed Drake.

Xander limped in fox form to where Jay was and crumpled with a small cry at her feet. He was in a lot of pain, but wanted to be near her.

The spirit nods.
"Alright. First part. I was a young man. This takes place back when Xander was seven. A newer thief then. I was in my early twenties. Twenty-three perhaps. I owned a small, humble jewelry store. I had made the most perfect gold ring. It was beautiful and made for a very wealthy customer of the name Damion. The ring was to be sold the very next day, and the profit would benefit me well, assuring me a better life than the one I had. I was heading to the back of the store the next day to get a bracelet for a customer, when I noticed a small boy. I didn't think much of him at the time. Just assumed he was a mere child with one of the several adults in the store that day. I came back though, to find both the boy, and that ring, gone. The small boy hadn't even triggered the alarms set up and it wa a very high tech system itself. Questions before I continue?" he says.

"Just don't get over-protective likely why Mitus and Cypher are gone!" shouted Bushroot.

Jay pondered for a moment, but shook her head. "All seems well so far. Proceed" Jay said, petting Xander lightly.

Bushroot walked to Xander and kneeled to him, "Do you know Mitus?"

Xander lifted his head to touch Jay's hand softly.

The spirit nods.
"Alright. Last part. Of course as you would have thought, I started to panic. Damion was to come in half an hour and I did not have the ring. I ran out of my shop to chase down the boy. I could see him a little ways ahead. He had quite the illness, so his stamina was lacking and I could hear him panting. Eventually, he began to slow down. I began catching up with him. He noticed this and tried to pick up his pace, to no avail. He tripped not too far along and lost the ring. I stopped almost immediately, and Xander got away. He was not what I was worried about though. It was the ring. I had to return without it, and I was sued for more money than I had by Damion. I had no place to stay and was unable to find a job or money. I was a beggar for only a few days before I died of starvation. I wouldn't have died if Xander hadn't have took the ring, so I came back for vengeance." he snarled.

Xander had shrunk back against Jay's leg.
"I had not known that ring to be so valuable. My mind had been overcome by a state of delirium. I only thought about what could keep me alive." he whimpered quietly.

Bushroot glared vicious-like at Xander.

"Uh huh... So you came back to haunt Xander basically. Probably not knowing Xander has already lost his father. And has already been traumatized by so many things. Instead of moving on like any good person would, you lingered and are currently in the process of revenge. Congratulations, you're a horrible spirit" Jay said with a nod.

"I think not," defended Bushroot, "He was robbed and jailed!"

OOC: I think you just owned me. I'm stuck on a reply. *thinks*

The spirit glared at Jay.
"You don't think I haven't had a horrid past? My father was taken from my family to be sold as a slave when I was four, and my mother died of an incurable illness right in front of my eyes when I was five. I was lucky that an orphanage took in a small pathetic child like me, his imagination still growing. Even then, every kid in that orphanage beat me up, made me do everything chores wise, stole things from me. Valuable things. A necklace from my mom, and charm from my father. I think I could know a lot about Xander now. Looking through old family records, Xander is my long lost cousin." he spat.

OOC: My decided twist in the plot

OOC: Oooh... I can work with this...

"Hmm... Yes I see. Haunting family. Aren't you just the sweetest thing ever. And I thought it was bad before. But now that I know he's you cousin. Jeez man." Jay shakes her head in disapproval. "Way to backstab your family like that."

"And I, the dark angel, Bushroot, shall join you, the spirit." he decided standing next to him.

OOC: This is so heated.

"It's not backstabbing. Xander got me killed. I could have lived a lot longer if he hadn't taken that ring as well as lost it. If he had talked to me, I could have taken him in. I knew how he felt, how he was living. I could have helped him, but he stole instead." the spirit spat.''

Xander whimpered.

OOC: Certainly XP

"Quick question. If Xander was the one that got you killed, then why exactly are you trying to kill all he loves? Buddy, you surely have a weird thought pattern, I'll tell ya that" Jay said

"Revenge Jay, revenge," Bushroot replied.

The spirit laughs coldly.
"You think all that I loved, my wife, my kids, were able to survive? My wife needed medicine that only the money could pay for, and one of my kids had the same illness as Xander. They all died as well, unable to get the medicine that they needed. Xander set off a chain reaction." he spat.

"Still not making sense. If Xander set off the chain reaction, not his loved ones, then you are killing off people for no reason! Kill Xander and be done. The trauma would be enough to drive the rest of us to suicide" Jay said

OOC: (Dunn worry, Jay'll make sure nobody gets killed XP)

"Genius spirit, genius," Bushroot complimented.

Xander coughed in surprise.
"Jay?!" he cries.

The spirit nods at Jay's suggestion.
"It would be much easier. He's almost dead anyway." he says.

OOC: Xander apparently is really worried now.

"Exactly" Jay said "You yourself could replicate exactly what happened to you. You demon, you." Jay said slyly

"Yes, kill him, kill that pile of filth," Bush said.

OOC: Oh he's not falling that easily.

The spirit looks at Jay cautiously. He waves his hand and chains wrap themselves around Jay's ankles. The chains were built of strong metal meant for keeping whatever was in their grasp, from moving.
"Then you must plan on watching hmm? Can't have you interfering." he says.

"Jay." Xander cries. His eyes were closing slowly from blood loss. He was already dying off.

"Wise one" Jay rolls her eyes as she moves her hands around. "Jake! Now!" She cried as Jake came out from behind a tree.
"You rang?" Jake asked with a laugh. Jake quickly grabbed Xander.

OOC: And let the plan commence XP

OCC: Should we make Bush the spirit's assistant?

OOC: Nice! I'm stuck on words here again.

The spirit was quick to react. He swished his hands to bring vines to trip Jake. One of the vines wraps itself around Jake's leg.

Sachi watches from the bushes. The two were like a tag team. She thought about how maybe if she could get to Jay, she could pick the locks on the chains. She snuck towards where Jay was and began picking the lock with a pin.

The spirit hears the lock picking and turns to where Sachi is. He swishes his hand and a blade cuts Sachi. She falls backwards with a gash down her arm. She had managed to finish picking the locks, freeing Jay.

Serge leaps from the bushes to tackle, and distract the spirit. The spirit is unable to handle so many tasks and the vines let go of Jake. The spirit is forced to focus on Serge right then.

"Get away now?" Serge barks to Jay and the others.

Sachi struggles to her feet.

Bushroot got in Sachi's way, "Hello darling," he muttered.

"Jake! Get Sachi and I'll grab Xander! Serge, can you stall the spirit while I get everyone to safety? I'll be back ASAP" Jay called out as she grabbed Xander and Jake grabbed Sachi. Jake had began to run off already.

OCC: Cynder, should I have NegaDuck help free Jay?

OOC: ... Jay's already free

Drake jumps at Bushroot to fight him.

Serge nods as he wrestles with the spirit.

Xander leans against Jay weakly, his breathing quick.
"I knew you were smart, Jay. It's why I love you." he says weakly to her.

Sachi wrapped her arms weakly around Jake's neck, resting her head against his chest.

Jay ran quickly as she held Xander "I wouldn't just let ya die like that. I had a plan this whole time" She said as Jake and her ran deep into the forestry, far from the spirit. "I have to go help Serge now. Jake will watch over y'all." Jay said with a smile. "Stay out of trouble"

Xander nods.
"You stay out of trouble too."

Sachi clenches her arm painfully.

The spirit kicks Serge off of him and Serge tumbles to the ground with a yelp.

Quacker yelps at him, but still runs at him to attack him.

Jay morphs to wolf form and starts running back to the spirit, following Serge's yelp.

Jake pulls out his medical pack. "I'll help you two as much as I can, but Jay will have to do the tougher wounds" He says, taking out bandages and antibiotics.

Xander is attempting to get to his feet, to no avail. He continues to crumple painfully to the ground, and eventually just passes out from the strain and lack of blood.

Sachi leans against a tree, blood running down her arm.

Jake works on Xander first, patching up wounds here and there, and applying antibiotics where he can. He eventually has covered most of the wounds that were the main causes of blood loss. He went to work on Sachi next, wrapping her arm in gauze carefully, after applying antibiotics. "That should help until Jay gets back"

Jay makes it to where Serge is and quickly darts to claw at the Spirit

Sachi nods.
"Thanks Jake. You're so sweet and caring." she said with a soft smile.

The spirit swipes razor wind at Jay, trying to cut her.
