I have had a small odd issue with activate. I go to send gifts and the only friend I have is aura. It says I am online and saves to the cloud... I look at another time of day and they are back. Any one else have that issue?

It's similar to your Activate friend's list not matching your in-game friends list. It's a bug that was introduced months ago - Activision know about the friend's list bugs, and don't give a damn about fixing them. Still, the bugs that come with EVERY single update at least give us something to discuss on the forum.

It is a weird and annoying bug. I accepted you (re)invite Woz but I still don't see you on my in game friends list. How many times have tried this now, three, four times?

It happened to me last night. 101 down to 1. I figured I'd wait it out. This morning I had ten and all showed up as new friends. I had a bunch of people who hadn't logged in in two to three weeks that I planned to clear out so I figured I'd try that. That seemed to force it to recheck so they came back in waves, all showing as new. I'm still only at 95 though. I'm not looking forward to making a list again to identify the missing ones.

They seemed to fix whatever glitch was keeping people from showing up in the list, for the most part. Every time I add someone to activate, they usually show up in my list within several seconds. I haven't had an issue in months. I'm still missing a few only because they were missing from the beginning and haven't bothered going through and deleting them. I believe there may still be a problem with certain accounts. Woz is on both my Activate and friends list, but I can never visit him. I don't visit, anyway, as it takes too long, so I'm not sure about others or if Woz's was ever fixed. So there's a possibility that there is an issue with certain people's accounts not adding, but not an overall issue like before. So it's possible that they don't realize there is an issue. People stopped complaining about it and, for the most part, it has been fixed. I'm not sure how to report it, but maybe if we're having individual issues, they need to be reported. Having Activision Assist and Advisor Orville on here helped some, but we haven't heard from them in a while. Hopefully, they'll come back once things get back in motion. Asking anything on facebook doesn't seem to help as it seems to just be run by some social media person who may/may not pass on the information. I'm not sure about Twitter. Since it seems to be an issue with not just one person's account, but one person's account connecting with someone else's it may be harder to nail down. But knowing that all of us has had an issue with visiting Woz's island, there definitely seems to be an issue with his islands. If we could get their devs to look at a certain forum, we could all put together a list of people we have had issues with either adding or visiting and look for a consensus with certain people's accounts. That may help them figure out the problem.

Yeah I haven't had a problem with it in months, and then last night everyone was gone. Even visiting doesn't give me issues. I have one I can never visit that still shows an impossible level but the game never even gives the option to visit that one, it is always greyed out. It is very annoying to suddenly get the problem back again. New friends all work, but old ones are missing.

I often get the glitch where I log on and all of my friends are missing except Aura. If it happens I close down the game in the background then start the game straight back up again and all of the names reappear.

I've had that happen too. I usually don't even shut down, just wait a minute or two. This time is not the same.

And yet you show up in mine and I get your gifts. I did cave and work out who the three were, and sent new invites.

I think I've pinned down the culprit. While a lot of people have TTed, I was one of those who dared tell lots of others about the extent of it - what was possible and how to do it safely. As a result, I am now on the NSA's watch list, and they've instructed Activision to make my islands inaccessible for fear of me using my sheep topiaries to spell out NSA data collection secrets.

Having once visited the WikiLeaks website and guilty of reading news reports about Edward Snowden, I'm now in hiding in Australia in fear of facing the death penalty...

I should have picked something far less dangerous that only attracts a maximum 10 year sentence - such as smuggling 44 boxes full of F-35 fighter jet blueprints and documents to Iran.

It's happened two times only and friends do come back...nothing to lose sleep over. I'm more worried about looking like a deadbeat friend

I just noticed that my Activision friends and friends in the game actually match up number wise (plus Aura). I figure someone dropped me but not sure who. I have a few slots open, it seems.
