The only reason i ask this, is not to start anything, its because i need to start planning as i play slow pitch softball during the summer and it can be very expensive lol. When was Wave 4 released last year for Giants? just to get a general idea. Thanks!

Wave 4 Giants came out mid-late February last year (20th I believe at TRU). Initial boxes with Ninjini were labelled "W4". Singles hit mid March, at Gamestop first (Spyro and Wrecking Ball). Lightcores came out in Europe late March, took till late April to reach here in very small quantities.

Wave 5 Giant assortments "W5" hit mid April (just a new assortment, but nothing new), at TRU first. Wave 5 singles took until early June (with Drobot), showing up at Walmart first. Wave 5 Lightcores (full box of just Hex) didn't hit until Swap Force released.

Variants didn't really align with waves, but the boxes did carry Wave numbers that roughly aligned with the current Wave at the time.

They put Hot Dog & Shroomboom into battle packs, single pack and even triple pack in Giants. Even in SF terrafin is in the BP, SP and a triple, so I wouldn't be suprised if they did. They want MONEYYY$$$$$

spyro - 2 triple packs and a single

i wouldn't put it past acti to do something like this if they did an exclusive magic pack already. This game's figures have been shuffled around a lot more than they used to in the past. The employee could have been talking out of their rear but could always check that info out sometime.

Anyways, I'd say Wave 4 coming out around March, with Jade Fire Kraken coming out January 31st, to celebrate Chinese New Year, and then Springtime Trigger Happy will officially kick off W4 by releasing him first, then slowly sending out W4 Swaps/Cores.

The Jade Fire Kraken for Chinese New Year has been pretty thoroughly debunked. There isn't a thing to support it other than some circumstantial correlations. He looks like a Chinese dragon and jade is a popular material in the region. Skylanders isn't even out in China, where it would obviously be of greater interest. Yes, there are people all over the world that celebrate the holiday, but it is unlikely they would choose that holiday to create a special figure.

Springtime Trigger Happy is probably mid April for Easter, given Easter falls on April 20th this year. He might be late March, given Spring begins March 20th, but that is mighty close to St. Patricks Day, which is kinda of assumed to be when Jade Fire Kraken might show up - given last year's Jade Flashwing at Target appearance.

He more than looks like him. Havnt you played him? One of his main powers is turning into a chinese new year style parade dragon, and hes all fireworks otherwise. It would make sense to release him for chinese new year, but skylander release and distrobution never make much sense.

I agree, jade krakan will be around st patricks day (id say sunday the 16th of march ad at target). I think Easter Trigger Happy at the latest will come out Easter Day which is a sunday so it fits. He could also come out like you said on march 20th but ya i agree thats really too close to jade. Im leaning more towards early april to april 20th itself.

Yes, I've played him and know that ability. He definitely resembles a Chinese dragon. But, that's not the point. It still isn't a "major" holiday in the regions in which the game is available. And Jade and non-Jade have the same ability. I know people REALLY want him and soon, but personally I don't expect it to be then. We would almost certainly would have heard something by now - it's two weeks away. Yeah, Sprocket snuck out under the radar, but this is an actual in-game variant.
