Toys R Us has a sale running from Jan 12 to Jan 18. It's on all Skylanders (SF, SG, SSA) figures, starters, and accessories. Basically anything with the word 'Skylander' written on it as far as I can tell. The appears to be in addition to whatever mark down is already on some of these items.

I am ho hum about this. My collection is up to date at the moment since I have no patience, and 25% isn't huge deal in light of what we saw during the holidays. I'll likely stop by and see if there's anything interesting on the shelves since I was last there a few days ago.

I was bummed at first, since we just went in there, the other day. But my son picked up 3 Swappers. That would be $40 with this deal. So $35 was the better deal. Even if they were the $15 that everyone else is, it would still just bring it down to $35. Now if they were still running the 3 for $35 plus the $10 off $40, that would be a different situation. I could have thrown in a corelander for practically free.

Cool. I haven't opened the new battle pack or two core landers in hopes of getting a sale down the line. Looks like it was a wise choice.

I don't think you would be allowed to stack the $10 off with the 3 for $35 swapper sale though.

Yea it end up being 25% off since you get 40 dollars worth of stuff for 30. My only problem is I only need 2 skylanders which is only 26 dollars worth so I would have to buy 12 bucks more worth of stuff.

Well I could get a case since they are on sale as well. I usually don't get them since they are less functional than a shoebox.

Is this online-only, or available in-store as well?

I might participate since I have yet to pick up Dune Bug, SWI or ACBP. Planning on getting SWI and ACBP for 40$ with this sale (45$ with it, since Toys R Us costs extra?)

I was talking about it in another thread. I really like the carry & display case. It doesn't have as many dividers as I would like, but it is nice. We've tried cheaper options like plastic boxes, shoeboxes, etc., and we just ended up with broken Skylanders. We even bought the adventure case where they all get thrown in together and it was about the same, even though it looked better than a shoebox. I think the carry & display case was all about sitting them up where they can be on display when you sit the case up. If you're not worried about displaying them, I've found that most Skylanders (except giants...swappers can if you take them apart) will fit by standing them up while it's lying down (meaning the base sits up against the back of the case instead of on the divider). That takes up a lot less space. If I can figure out a way to get more dividers that work, then this will work out great.

$10 off a $40 purchase is better than the buy one get 40% off the next one, as long as you spend less than $50.

Sheep Wreck Island was added to TRU.com but isn't included in the 10 off 40 sale (yet?). Same with Arkeyan Crossbow. I assume instore it would still work, especially if you make a stink about it.

Edit: Looks like a lot of stuff online was not included in the 10 off 40. None of the swappables are included.

Edit #2: around noon 1/13, the swappables are all included in the sale online, even the new ones. But still not SWI. Buggers.

Also, there's a 15% off a regularly priced item coupon "15FORYOU". Doubt it stacks, but wouldn't be surprised if it did.

That's the one. It looks like they are still $40 in the store. If they were on sale and stacked with the $10 off $40, it might be a good deal. I pause $20 for ours on Thanksgiving. I've seen them run 50% off at other times, too.

My local Toys R Us in Southeastern Michigan got a ton of new Wave 3 stick in. Had a lot of swappers, cores, and lightcores. Still had some Arkeyan Crossbow from the first round. They still have not restocked Sheep Wreck Island. Any of you still looking might want to stop by Toys R Us. It would be nice to use the deal on any missing wave 3 that you might not have yet.

Yea mine had a huge amount of new swappers and lightcore but no Arkeyan Crossbow or Sheep Wreck Island. Ended up getting my last 2 lightcores and a cheap case to get up to 40 and I'll probably take back the case.

Yea i was debating on using two of the 15% off coupons but with the 10 off it's about 20% off each when i was done

The 15FORYOU coupon is no good with this promotion, it'll apply it...by negating the $10 off one. Just a head's up there.
