Well if you think about it. A forum site of Skylanders actually helps Activision get more of their stuff sold. And probably give some money to Dark for such a site. Though I could quite be wrong, but you know it's just thinking outside my insanity box here.

Unless Dark works for Activision, I don't think so. This is a fansite; it would be like me making money off of standing in the street and persuading people to buy Skylanders from their local stores.

Basically what advertising is. But yeah you got a point though. But DS does have news announcements about which skylanders just came out and where you can get them. So basically it's sort of is helping the company out a bit. *shrugs* at least I think.

But think about it: sites like Equestria Daily advertise MLP merchandise and hype up episodes. But the only income they get is from ads running off the site. They don't even get that money, in fact, if someone visits with adblock. On EQD they have a message in place of ads (if you have adblock) that says you should enable it if you want to support the site.

I guess you got a point I mean, Flight Rising does that too.

I don't regret getting my 3DS early because of the free games. It helped me discover Metroid, which is one of my favorite series of all time now.
