I use S&N too, it's not like I'm talking down to people. I just think some people flatter themselves too much - we use a not particularly on topic part of the board guys... That's it. It's not exactly something to be feared like OP implies.

You know... There was a slight element of "not being totally serious" that people seemed to miss.

I still believe that people have this idea because of how, since this is the spam section, there's more that you can get away with than in other sections.And since the section has had a past of being rough on new users, the reputation passed itself down even to people who have no idea what they're going on about.
It's not /b/. It's not Dystopia. It's not even Soah City. But it could technically be considered the roughest place on the forum, not like that's hard to accomplish.

Well after years of you being more serious than not you've gotten quite good at it.
