Okay, I have Swap Force (my first time playing a Skylanders game) and am about 6 chapters through the story.

I also have Tower of Time -- wondering when you guys/gals think is the best time to play an adventure pack...mid-story? after completing the full story one time?...

I recommend completing the story at least once, on whatever difficulty you like. Tower of Time is easier with characters that are at least level 10. Although - I was playing on hard mode. It might be different on Easy.

Whenever is fine. We are playing on Normal and we opened/played both of them as soon as we reached the main hub town. They are really well done this time around, and very long. Flynn is hilarious in both of them.

Anytime is the best time.

Glad to hear these levels are fun and challenging.

My current plan will probably be to complete the story on Medium first and then play ToT, but wanted to ask in case from a story perspective it fits well at a certain point in the story.

Well the adventure packs have no place in the story as such but they may give back round but I would suggest any time.

I've been holding off till my son and I finish the game. So far i think we are on level 9.

I'm rewarding ourselves with an adventure pack halfway through and then the other one upon completion of story mode...then off to time attack/score mode and nightmare mode.

Ohh the dreaded Nightmare Mode. My wife and I were discussing it this evening. We are going to be at it for a long time.

I do them after completing the story mode, but you can do them at any time.
