THANK YOU!! It's about time someone put up real legitimate proof of the release of the remaining Wave 3. But overall, it's sad to wait so long for them & we'll never know if some Target stores or other U.S. retailers will put them out early...

Not to be a buzzkill, but large retailers like that often put the last day of the month if the publisher says "sometime in January" or whatever. If a video game company says they will release a game in 4th Quarter 2014, they will put Dec. 31, 2014 to cover their butts. My guess is they will be out before then. Not to mention that the 31st is a Friday and they seem to release on Sundays from what I can remember. Wave three is out in Italy already, and has been for weeks. I highly doubt they would wait 6 -7 weeks between a secondary market and the primary market that is the US.

Probably right. I'm banking for mid Feb to have enough stock I don't have to make wasted trips.

Matteomax is right, back in 2012, Gamestop told me Luigi's Mansion 2 was coming out on May 2nd that year just to persuade me to reserve it. When it didn't release, they told me august 2nd. Then december 2nd. The point is, don't always trust employees unless they've proved to be a reliable source like lesty.

Keep in mind Gamestop is having their promotional Skylanders Day on 01/11. I would not be surprised if they get some kind of stock for that day ala the gaming day they had with the release of Jolly Bumble Blast. I do have a buddy who works as a Manager at Gamestop here, but I haven't heard from him yet on the question of new stock, etc.

Apparently, someone was claiming that their local ToysRUs had the rest of Wave 3 out, LightCores included.

After checking this forum after work, I called my local TRU and asked about Sheep Wreck Island. The employee said yes they had received new skylanders today and yes they had that pack. They would not hold one for me (said they won't hold new products?) but that they had plenty. I drove over and Jackpot! I got Sheep Wreck Island, the battle pack and both lightcores! They had plenty of everything. This store had has had next to nothing for the last 2 weeks. They had plenty of wave 2 swappers, legendaries, rubble rouser, a couple of stink bombs and plenty of sheep wreck and the battle pack. I did not see any Spy Rise. This is at the Kenwood, Ohio store (Cincinnati suburb). Go get em!!!!

only thing at my TRU was the battle pack

My local kmart doesn't have a single wave 3 figurine. Not a single dang one. No multi-packs, no single packs, not even non-LC smolderdash. Oh but they DID get a TON of wave 2's for no reason. I'm actually slightly upset.

edit: checked amazon, they have some sheep wreck island packs... at 44.99

I can confirm that TRU had Wave 3 complete. All 3 swappers, Battlepack with Camo, Adventure pack, as well as light cores including Wham Shell. The boxes contained 4 each of the new light cores and 4 more of the old ones. 3 different shipment boxes. Good luck on your hunts. Also it looks like the 11th will be the day that Gamestop gets theirs in.

Yup, mine had dozens of boxes out.. And numerous more sitting in a shopping cart.

Got the 2 LightCores and Sheep Wreck. I'll pass on the Battle Pack, even though I slightly regret it.

TRU locations please?

Everett, WA (they were just unboxing them at 3:30pm PST) so they've been on shelves about 3 hours now. They had 3 boxes of each...approximately 8 of each figure I estimate.

Tustin, CA has Wave 3. A LOT of Wave 3.

This sucks for me if the 1-31-14 release is true for Kansas. My birthday is the 19th.

I don't buy online because I have had bad experiences with waiting too long and then getting a refund for no apparent reason.

Tigerbear.... Do you have a TRU by you? They are out there now or on Amazon.

Called my TRU to asked about Wave 3, said they had Sheep Wreck. Show up an hour later after getting off work and they were out....not a happy camper over here.
