Some surprises here.
The last time I checked the list was in 2006. The USA has gone from #8 to #3, which is very good IMO. Also, Australia wasn't even on the list at all, but they're #2, which is also very good news.
Note that most of the European countries here are outside the Eurozone, which is experiencing an economic tragedy right now.
Japan and Norway are the only countries that are still the same position. Sweden has actually dropped from #2 to #8. The UK was also #5 in 2006, but they've dropped off the list completely now. Wonder what that's all about.
EDIT: According to the list Wreckingballbob posted, Canada is #11. You guys just BARELY missed it. The UK is #26.....That's a pretty big leap from #5 when I last checked it. Probably because of the EU's economic meltdown.

I knew it, there were so many Americans here whining about living in "hell" and wanting to move out even though they don't know what it's like everywhere else and have no idea of what it feels like to live in a third world country.
Hopefully this will teach them to appreciate what you have instead of spitting on it. |

America isn't even equal in most of their rights.
New Zealand and Canada are very free countries, attaining more rights than America. U.K has free healthcare. India has more rights than America, too, based on what they believe.

Woah, what? I don't think that's because of free health care, I've never had to wait months for anything (I've had surgery twice plus bandages and minor ****, almost all of them because of football injuries). I had a classmate who had tonsils removed and it only took him a few weeks since they found out. This isn't about free health care, it's your system that's not working if what you say is true. |
