I'm not sure how it's done in X/Y, but in Emerald there is a glitch where you can duplicate a Pokemon. The Pokemon will be exactly the same. It's more exploiting the game data to cause a Pokemon to appear in 2 parts of the save data.


In Emerald it works by saving at a certain time, taking out the Pokemon to clone, then turning off the game while saving at another specific point. Since the save was interrupted, the game will register the Pokemon in both in the PC box and in your party, creating a duplicate or "clone" of the Pokemon.

Ok, so I just got X for Christmas from a friend. I have past versions of the Pokemon games dating all the way back to my Pokemon Blue and Gold cartridges, and have some pokemon I rather enjoy breeding to use on future games (based on egg moves they've already learned and such). So how do I trade from Gen V (B/W/B2/W2) to Gen VI (X/Y)? Granted I haven't even gotten my first badge since I'm so new to the game, but I'm just curious how this works. Apparently, there's some other feature for which I want to have a lot of friends on my 3DS. My pal said it had something to do with the safari zone in this game. Can anyone give me any info for that as well? Thanks! smilie

I think you use Pokebank.

You have to have Pokebank and Poketransporter which isn't out yet. It's a app for the 3DS which you have to pay $5 a year to use. Here is the link to what the Pokebank and Poketransporter do. http://www.pokemonbank.com/en-us/bank/

But Friend Safari is only available after you beat the elite four. It's basically a zone where the more friends you have the more pokemon you can catch. But there are only 2 to three pokemon in each friends safari and each friends safari has a type in which only pokemon of that type only appear in that friends safari.

It's not a Pokemon Generator. He's duplicating Pokemon he already owns. He can't just make any Pokemon for you.

Maybe Heracross somewhere for psychic, plus mega evolution.
Then rock type moves for flying.


He has blaizeken for flying types because he is a fire/fighting type and blaizeken can mega evolve and conkelder is a rock type and so far it sounds good



How does that help? Fire isn't super effective against flying. Plus Conkeldurr isn't a rock type.

Traded my shiny Aegislash on the GTS after I cloned it and expected to get a regular Heatran in return, and it was shiny when it arrived. I was suprised!

Successfully started a new game. I seriously need to stop letting my sister push me around. She wouldn't even let me pick the IGN. One day I'm going to snap and beat the **** out of her and then go to juvy
