I think the parents put porn on the 3DS so they could sue Walmart and get money.

Something like that happened in WA state recently. A mother put needles (yes, drug needles.) in her son's new hoodie. Here Is the story. They don't know if it was the women who put them in there or not, but, it could very well be a hoax.

The higher the technology, the more responsible and overcautious that you have to be.

It probably wasn't Nintendo's fault though. It was most likely Wal*mart's fault for not checking the system to see if anything was on it. Nintendo makes near most to all of the game/apps/etc they make E for everyone. This includes the 3DS. Which someone most likely used to take pictures of porn then return it as a sick joke. People do this a lot. Sometimes when I go to the store I see taped over packages of Action replays, stolen trading cards, and sometimes near stolen Skylanders. So basically it's Wal*mart's fault for not having tight security and check on the items.

2 is very true. I once saw they had one of their used DS's for sale that had a game in the slot and they didn't even know.

Explain.

Little kids, being naive and not thinking anything of it, would exchange friend codes on the internet with complete strangers. These strangers would then use Swapnote's SpotPass feature to send pornographic images to the kids. Unfortuantly, the solution Nintendo came up with is permanetly disabling SpotPass for SwapNote.
