The real answer to your question is do you find yourself energy-starved, breaking even on energy, or huge surplus?

If you run airships/balloons constantly, Flynn will help you burn up the surplus energy. Ol Mac will give you a surplus.

I went with ol Mac first and got Flynn a few months later. It worked out. However, as someone pointed out before, if you have enough gems to get Flynn plus more radiant fields, you can make it work without ol Mac. In the end though, it all comes down to your energy consumption.

Element of the day is not working. If you close your game and start it again it will be broken once again. It worked only when game is switching to the new day but only until you close it and restart again.

Yes, EoD still glitched. Got the first collect (per usual) and then it disappeared half hour later (also per usual now). Nice that Skylanders and Companions are on sale, but am really missing out on stones/Well opportunities.

If I hadn't bought a Hall of Legends for gems, I could have bought him when he was first released at 1000 gems, but then I didn't have enough, then the price went up. Jumped on him at the stroke of midnight.

After him, it was a case of who I was missing and could afford. Turned out to be Gorm and Tuk, and Hugo.

I'm very happy with this sale!

You will not regret, it's a very good buy. Today I've bought Gorm and Tuk (I was waiting all this time for them 50%), although I was collecting from giant houses until 2:00 AM to buy them, because I bought Fiznik yesterday and I was left almost without gems.

I went with Ol'MAc. I don't have a surplus of energy but not really starved for it either. Anyways... The EotD I think works after it switched to a new day for a bit and then we do something that kicks it off.

I snagged Arbo and Maboo. I only have Cherry and the companions that boost kudos left to snag. And I really dont need any of those.

With Arbo, OlMan and my radiant fields, I can run Diggs using energy and still have enough energy to run everything else wide open. Since my gold/energy ratio is nearly 1:1, that reduces the cost of Diggs to 200k gold instead of 500k.

i have enough for Abro. Thinking maybe I should pick him up and then try and save enough gems for Flynn later.

A girlfriend tt one day and accidentally tapped on a building. She came back to the present to find she had 60 hours to wait. Having a full inventory so unable to drop it in there she went forward to correct the problem. She now has to wait 152 hours.

Question on radiant energy fields.... Do you have to use the radiant energy crops in those? Sorry for the dumb question. ><

Not a dumb question, Bazinga! I thought that, too, until I accidentally planted a normal crop in a radiant field. You get more energy per crop using the radiant fields with regular crops

The fix is to jump ahead to when the house will be available to collect, then come back to the present before collecting. That will reset the timer to the current time.
