I hate to bother you with questions about Target store policies ... but, do you know if Target stores would honor a "price adjustment" if someone purchased Skylanders today and then went on sale this Sunday?

They will. I found all three at my local Target and talked to the cashier and he said to just bring the receipt on Sunday and they'll do it.

Hope they only accept the receipt for you. Last time I did that they wanted the receipt everything back and did not resale the items back. They said I had to go and get new items. Luckily there were some left on the ailes.

That's screwed up. They shouldn't have done it that way.

Made the trip this morning and grabbed all 3 got to actually crack open the case and pick out the best paint jobs glad I didn't wait till Sunday as my target only got 2 cases

Two cases huh? That seems paltry compared to TRU getting 10-15 cases. I had a feeling Target would be not prepared for this weekend...and since they aren't holding back...those that follow the rules and wait will be punished.

To be fair, many have reported that the cases didn't have a street date on them. But regardless, the rule would only apply to the store, not the consumers. So buying before Sunday doesn't make someone a rule breaker, and waiting until Sunday doesn't mean someone is following the rules.

5 stores later. Found all 3. Pppppffffttttt street date.

Oakridge Mall Target, San Jose, CA was just stocking the shelves at 9:50 am, they had about 10 of each.
Target at The Plant (Monterey Hwy) had zero and none in back.

Found all three at Target in Cincinnati (Marburg Avenue store). I got the last Rubble Rouser, they still had 4 Stink Bomb and 3 Spy rise on the pegs. The pegs were pretty bare for both Skylanders and Infinity. So glad I didn't wait until Sunday!!

Target in Newington CT had a poorly stocked display area. Got the only Stink Bomb and Rubble Rouser I saw and 1 of 3 Spy Rise. I did not take the time to speak to any of the employees about what stock they might have available for Sunday.

Target in Bristol, VA was still fairly well stocked so there wasn't anything that hadn't been there since Christmas Eve. Although I was able to get the 3rd and 4th Triple packs so I'm all done with wave 2 finally. The manager I talked to said they don't price match B2G1 deals even if they go on sale after you buy them there.

Our local Target will just use the receipt. However, if your Target makes you have the product, it looks like all swappers are the same SKU. If they insist on playing hardball, go buy 3 random swappers for the B2G1 and then return them with the W3 swappers' receipt. - Problem solved.

I picked them up yesterday late afternoon. My local target had a seperate shelf area just around the corner of the regular Skylanders isle and was basically full of all three. So maybe 15-20 of each. Just saying look around.

I ended up going to Kmart this morning anyways; I was too impatient. I had no problem returning the W1 Swappers to Target. Out of curiousity, I went back to the Skylanders section of the store and all the W3 swappers were sold out. I'm glad I bought them up yesterday.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, I found all three in Phoenix, AZ at 7th St & Bell Target, but I did stop by 31st Ave & 101 Target first and they did NOT have them (had someone look in back for me), but Target employee said that they are getting a truck tonight and would have any new items out by 8AM opening tomorrow so I would think they would be out by then unless they absolutely hold them over until Sunday for the advert. They way we've been finding them it does not seem likely...


UPDATE: NO figures out at 31st & 101 store today. :-( Was there for another purchase and breezed thru to look. Hopefully tomorrow I guess...

All swapper have same dcpi. swappers meanign these, hootloop, magna charge etc. only ones with diff would be nitro and any special variant.

Seems that some stores needed to restock after Xmas and put them out.
I bought all 3 (even though I could have saved some waiting for Sunday, but I'm traveling that day).
I assume they will get more stock next week, but hope there aren't too many stores that sell out of their supply before Sunday.
Might be a lot of disappointed shoppers if that's the case.

I hope this "deal" is the same thing that ran last yr around this time the buy 2 get 1 free. If so i'll be happy.

That's why they aren't locked on the register because if it locked you out of selling those three it would lock out all the Swappers. It never really made sense to me (I mean, it does for simplicity, but not for stuff like this...) but it's the same way with basically all action figures and toys that come in assortment packs.

This means that I can go and buy any 3 swappers at whatever store currently has the best promotion (I'm thinking Kmart's B2G1 Free), then return it at Target. Price matching without all the restrictive rules.

Yep this can be done. Ethics aside.

Target in westbury ny did this to me, wouldn't let me do a return and rebuy. So i said fine i'll go to a more competent store. Went to another and was easily done and they told me how horrible westbury is (which i knew already but it's closest to my work for lunch break stop)

You could do this, ethics aside because your basically returning not what was bought. Honestly if the stores a jerk go to another or do this lol.

I hate to say this, but my local Target is a bust as well. Walmart too, for that matter. I`m going to sit out this mini-round of hunting, as I just ordered the 3 swappers & 2 new lightcores from Amazon.de.

Got last stink bomb but there was still a case in back left in Ofallon missouri

I went to my Target for some Orange Juice and was patiently awaiting the street date, but they told me that they stocked everything in the back and everything was sold out. They said they won't receive another shipment until next Friday, and that they are unsure of what skylanders are on that shipment. The release date is this Sunday though. I live in Southeast Michigan.

I think I saw 2 of each of the Wave 3 Swappables at the Target Customer Service station in Westminster CA that is located near Chic-Fil-A as I was leaving. I wonder who'd be lucky to get them ASAP...
