I agree with the above. Also Wash Buckler is not a "Skylanders Swap Force" Same with Tree Rex being a "Skylanders Giants". Wash Buckler is a Swap Force Skylander and Tree Rex is a Giant.

well I had been thinking about buying this as i'm seeing it crop up below £50 around now. wanted to come ask if its worth it so I personally found this thread useful!
from that its a rather poor quality toy for £50 odd pounds, its just a few bits of plastic that barely do anything. However, saying that i'm tempted to purchase it as a project.
there are a few details on the sides such as windows, panels, and I saw some doors that remain the same basic colour as the plastic, but the details are there. I might make the effort to paint all these details myself, try and make it look more like flynns ship.
but then again £50 is also a fair few skylanders...

Thanks for the feedback -- it seems some of you are not happy that I made a forum thread to post this topic -- I dont mean to upset anyone - just trying to share some videos that you may have missed that are for Skylanders -- feel free to give me suggestions on the best way to help spread the word and I'd gladly do that instead.

Have you not looked at their videos? There's videos of Rob playing the game before the release date, E3 videos, so on.

Rob at CoinOpTV even works behind the scenes at all of the Boomcast videos.

I say keep 'em coming, pennyman. If anyone doesn't like it, they can just ignore your posts.

FWIW - my son received both of these playsets yesterday and they were, by far, the most enthusiastically received gifts that he received from anyone this holiday season. They do seem like they are really well made. Overpriced, but we bought them when they were 50% off at tru.com and got the local tru to price match. w00t!

Agreed. It was those earlier videos that made me decide to buy these in the first place. That, and then the sale price.

But it is to some people. People may want a fun way to store Skylanders and so watching this review they might think "This looks fun and works well! I'll buy it!"
