Yeah I have used code after code and no luck. I really hope he is released retail, the contest was stupid in general, I would rather have bought 4 or 5 bags straight up and mailed for him than just "hoping" to get him by using codes I don't have to pay for.

yes that is what is making it so hard for some to win, yes someone could win at 12:15 am and someone could win at 12:16 am

yeah the times are completely random so you just have to keep trying. I think from all the people i've had to help i've won about atleast 8 figures now.They are not coming to me as they gave me their info and it goes to them.

yes that is what is making it so hard for some to win, yes someone could win at 12:15 am and someone could win at 12:16 am

Actually, no one can win at 12:15 a.m. & at 12:16 a.m. (I.e. 1 minute apart at that particular minute variable) on the same day. 12:14 & 12:15 is technically possible, but not the former. Artican's description was closest of those mentioned, but the variable period restarts on the quarter hour (i.e. ??:15:00 would actually start the second quarter variable).

Hey, just noticed something. The bag with the contest info says "Exclusive through 12/31/13." That could be taken to mean that their exclusive ends at that point and the figure could begin being sold elsewhere after that date, right? Maybe they will be available through retail for sad souls like myself who haven't been able to win all these weeks.

Artican is correct: There is a winner every 15 minutes, this does not mean that the winner will win on the 15th minute though. Every 15th minute is random. for example: The 4 winners for 2am - 3am could be 2:02; 2:29; 2:30; 2:55.

Well, I kept trying to win... but to no avail. I've been trying to find confirmation that Quickdraw will go to retail eventually but haven't found it. As much as I hate Skylander scalpers and all the people who have exploited this contest while people like myself have tried for months to win ONCE, I caved in today and just bought one off eBay. I got paranoid that it might never see retail. We don't know 100% one way or the other.

I ended up paying $50 for it on eBay. In my searching, I found a guy 2 hours drive away from me selling Quickdraws on craigslist for $40. I texted him. He doesn't have them all in-hand yet, but he has received 4 of his "winnings" and has 22 more on the way...

This contest sucked big time. If they are going to sell them at retail at some point, I feel like they should have made an announcement about it as soon as it was realized that people were taking advantage of the contest by winning 10, 20, 30+ all for a single household / scalper.

I don't understand why they didn't do this promo like they did with the Sidekicks. Buy a bag, enter your code, get the figure. The first 3,000 or 5,000 people or whatever that register get first dibs and therefore should be rewarded.

Alternatively, they should have made codes one time use only. I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to put the codes not only on the outside of the bags, but make them able to be reused continuously.

That's not to mention that running 3 contests within like 5 months was a nightmare for everyone since retailers hardly change out their stock.

I guess I'm happy that I ended up winning one, but I would have much rather liked the contest to actually make sense and work correctly.

No I'm using one for trade and if someone wants it and they have something I might be interested in we can both go away with something. The person that helped me even suggested that I could use one for trade. Why are you treating it like I'm selling it for $100 or something, it's not dishonest or wrong.

Like you said you were able to help people win which was very kind of you, I couldn't because I was struggling to win my self. I would've helped people win but since I couldn't someone helped me get two. So I can now hopefully use one to give to someone that might have something I might need in my collection. The fairness of the trade ends up being if both parties are satisfied. If made trades many times that may seem imbalanced, me recieving the lesser of the two things, but I wanted the lesser because it's something I liked and wanted and I felt it fair to trade my more "valuable" item for it.

It is just a difference of opinion~~nothing personal~~thar is all. Again--good luck with your trade.

Because at the moment a Flocked stump smash would sit on equal ground as a quickdraw due to how they are obtained. The fact is people helped you and in turn you're basically trading one off where it could have went to another person without a price. Now I know for a fact that someone I helped on here I also did the same for but that was due to error on my end with the zipcode but I wanted to be sure they get their quickdraw. I guess for them it'll be whatever they want to do with their extra as well as it would be out of my hands really.

A silver spyro and a pearl hot head are far out of reach in comparison with how little there are compared to quickdraw. Maybe you might find either of them opened for that. It depends if quickdraw gets a release outside of the contest. It's all on current trade values, that's why it would seem laughable. It also on the fact of taking that charity and it seems deliberate that you're using one to trade. Not a good way to get help in the future.

Activision could only offer me a trade for a regular one, and frito-lay said they'd "look into it" awhile ago. This is the figure I've had my heart set on so I'd gladly take any trades or help. I'd give up halloween fright rider for a working quick draw. Anyways, that's just me and my unlucky situation.

Ok, you all are treating this like a horrendous sin. I was given the extra and given advice to use it as a trade. I thought it was a good idea and that is what I am choosing to do with my extra figure. You can do whatever your figure and that's fine, sell it, give it away, save it. It's your figure and I absolutely hate being judged and attacked for something everyone does, trade figures! If I were not to win I would not be sore for someone wanting a trade for it. The flocked stump smash is not on par with the Quick Draw, it was obvious that is was very possible with tons of time and the know how to win many, and also have members help you or even get ones for free from members like you. So like I said if I don't get an offer for it then it will end. What's laughable is the way someone can say something and people jump on them like they should've known better, there is no need to start by being so crass off the bat. It's my decision to do with it what I please. If there is someone here (in person) I meet and I give it to them then that's what will happen. If someone is willing to trade something for it then that's their decision, but with all this fuss I'm pretty sure everyone thinks I'm a jerk for doing something honest.

Why is there no FritoLay exclusive marking on the quickdraw/frightrider?
I see them on almost every other exclusive: walmart, target, toy fair etc.

I am hoping for a wide release of quickdraw rattleshake as the shipping to Canada is brutally expensive, not to mention some of the ebayer price listings

I Received a Physically broken Eye Small Giants sidekick from frito lay and called them about it. They said they would have someone higher up email me but he never did so I just gave up. A few weeks later a replacement Eye Small came in the mail!!!! I was like "WOW! Why didn't they TELL ME."
So don't get discouraged yet, as long as you reported it being broke they may already plan on sending you a new one, Just don't expect them to tell you .

Hahaha! Good to know! I hope that is the case! They told me the same thing. They made it sound like I'd have to send back the broken one and wait for a new one once the "higher up" looked into it. I was going to give up based on their history and didn't want to have to "ship" back a broken toy in the hopes of getting it replaced.
