I was looking to get rid of my skylanders spyro's adventure game at gamestop but was wondering if they take just the game without the portal?

They don't take any trades on Skylanders stuff, as far as I know of.

You may get more for your game by going through Amazon or eBay, depending what condition it's in.

no they were getting figures that hd not been reset and some of the nicknames that were on the figures were volger, and it would take someone alot of time to go and reset everyone they got in for trade so company said no to figure trade ins. |

I was told by my GS Manager, it was because they could not sell them. They would mark them down $1-$2 from a new one. Plus turning in your old one, you would only get $.99 - $3 (if you were lucky). Not very good deal, went south really fast.

GameStop is known for being stingy with trading in games. The only Skylander with a good trade in value was Wham Shell, who was $13 or $14.

It would seem to me if your used buying program is not profitable because it's priced wrong, then reprice it to make sense. You can't make money on something you don't sell.

I'd rather take a torch to them in front of them than to sell them that cheaply.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed. |

That's pretty funny. I actually give my extra's to my nephew, or if he already has it, I give it to my son's best friend. |

Lol, this is how I feel about all my things. I will give my video games away before I sell them to Gamestop.
