I'm missing one figure from Giants, series 2 Bash. Does anyone know if there is to be a reprint of him? Spyro and Wrecking Ball got one recently and I just kept hoping that Bash would too.

I know there was a triple pack outside of the US for a while with him, Hot Dog, and Spyro, but I'm beginning to think we aren't going to see those in the states.

I am totally unwilling to support the scalping that is going on by resellers, but I would like to finish my collection.

If you think you're going to find series 2 Bash on the shelves in retail stores in the USA as a single pack at this point, you're probably up a creek without a paddle.

It's possible that series 2 Bash could be re-stocked during the holiday rush ... potentially in the much-anticipated Triple Pack packaging ... but again, that's just hope/speculation at this point.

If you want series 2 Bash, I suggest scouring your local Craigslist ... you might get lucky. Otherwise, you'll have to break with your desire to not support the secondary market for Bash. Or just accept not having him in your collection.

Yeah, but then again I wouldn't have thought I'd see Spyro and Wrecking Ball again either, and they JUST released Lightcore Hex for the first time even though it's a Giant figure. With the rerelease of Dino Rang incoming I have no idea what to expect anymore.

I was hoping some kind insider might would be able to shed some light on if it's possible to see him in a triple pack/single pack or otherwise.

I don't think this is a matter of scalping...scalpers buy up figures in hopes to resell at a much higher value...moreso limited figures and in-game variants. Bash is just the case of an unanticipated limited run of a figure no longer in production. I doubt anybody was running around buying up Bash every time they saw one when it was first released. It's like randomly choosing one of a newly released Swap Force figures and praying that it will be the next series 2 Bash. This is purely now a case of "I missed out on this when it was released on the primary market and now must pay a premium for it on the secondary market." Not all resellers are scalpers and I think your statement about not supporting them implies that you don't make the distinction between the them. A lot of us here on the forum have extras of some figures that we got to trade, but may decide to sell. Does reselling them make us scalpers? When I picture a scalper, I see them storming a store on the day of a release and dumping all of a new figure into a cart, perhaps even pushing others out of the way in the process.

Anyway, if it makes you feel any better, I missed out on series 2 Bash as well, but it's just not important enough for me to pay secondary market prices to get him.

Your best bet will probably be Walgreens.

I've seen too many cases of people buying these up for profit while kids who just want their one figure are further back in line and it doesn't sit well with me. My dislike for buying these online stem exactly from that place. It's impossible for me to know who is just reselling their extra figures and who hoarded them up.

Ya try walgreens sometimes they have older stock still there and bash could be there. Otherwise look on ebay, maybe pick a guy that doesn't look like he's scalping if that helps you do it. What I mean by that is someone not selling like 40 skylanders but maybe 1 or 2- i.e. your average joe on ebay selling something he cant return to the store.

my TRU reloaded on a lot of older skylander stuff. They did have S2 Bash in the triple pack, but not the single.

You didn't hit a nerve with me and I don't think you get what I was saying. Nobody was out buying up Bash for profit taking them away from little kids...no hoarding. It is just pure coincidence that Bash happened to be the one figure which went out of production first and seems to be unavailable now on the primary market. Unless scalpers/hoarders can see into the future, nobody knew this would happen to series 2 Bash and it wasn't a figure people were ever buying up for profit.

Yeah, this is simply a case of which one dried up first. It used to also include S2 Slam Bam, but he came in Wave 5 boxes, so it cleared that up. No one could have guessed that a repose of a figure that wasn't all that popular in Series 1 (and had 3 versions) would be a hit. And actually it isn't. He only appeared in one Wave (2) and was one per box. Boomer was not popular at all - until the supply dried up and you can't get him anymore. It's a simple rule: If people can't get it, then they will want it.

Unless the 3 pack with him eventually hits, then that is the only option, and the longer you wait the more it will be worth. But, if you do wait the 3 pack might come out, or they reship him ala Dinorang. It's a gamble either way.

I get what you are both saying, but I see people buying up figures regardless of whether they are limited, variants, or exclusives when they first come out to try and turn a profit too.

Besides, I'm not really concerned about WHY he's hard to find, I was just trying to see if people on here had some info about a possible upcoming release or tips. I haven't really been checking at Walgreens or anything so that's a good suggestion, and I'll keep trying TRU as well. It just seems so odd to me that two of the 3-packs never came over and that a Giants figure was a pre-order bonus with Swap force.

I do really appreciate all the suggestions, and if other people have more ideas feel free to keep them coming.

I'm still in the hunt for a series 2 Bash (although kind of low on my priority list).

I have been hunting down this figure for ever! I even called into Activision and Toys for Bob asking about whether the anywhere outside of Australia would get a release of the triple pack, unfortunately, responses from twitter, facebook, and about 6 separate phone calls have turned up squat, I have checked every store that might have them and no luck with that. I eventually gave up and won a bid on ebay for the triple pack for 50$, sadly though my Aussie friends selling it canceled the order because "We ran out" I hope you all have better luck then I. Craigslist is a good chance just make sure you meet in public, like at a McDonalds or something.

I am in the market for a S2 Bash as well, and I feel your pain in trying to find him.

It is sort of like the current rush on Fire Kraken from Swap Force. He is by no means out of production, but he gets scooped up mighty quick. I've come to understand that the majority of his popularity is how cool/unique of a figure he is, and folks are just anxious to get him for their collection. The scalping that may be going on is just an afftershock from the initial popularity, and some folks are trying to cash in on the rush, thus making an even bigger rush.

I've seen first hand the scalpers, but also understand that not every eBay listing is such. Just keeping your nose to the ground and earnestly watch the sales on ebay, you're bound to find him, if not at reatail, at least no too overly inflated.

I've found Bash S2 on Ebay goes for between $20 and $30, which is somewhat reasonable compared to Amazon's price which is more like $80. If it's someone selling a single figure used, I don't consider that a scalper. That's someone selling at fair market value.

Here's a hint on the Ebay auctions: Search for "Skylanders Bash" (no quotes) then look at the pictures. I've seen molten hot dog sell for $8 because it was mis-listed as a regular. I myself found a Bash S2 listed as Legendary Bash. The picture was the actual item - a Giants S2 Bash. Final price: $22. When I asked the seller why it was improperly listed, she responded, that's what my son says it is. The picture is the actual item. (I think it only said Legendary because it's so hard to find - like the legendary Loch Ness.)

I finally got lucky at a Walgreens. I will say that that is a LONG SHOT at best. I saw so many flashwings before I found what I was looking for. With TRU having an impressive selection of S1 skylanders now, we can hope that in the future they stock back up on S2 as well. I wish all of you the best of luck.

I did consider buying him used off of ebay, but many people do not keep up with trading cards/sticker/web codes. I don't mind having a gently used figure, but we keep all the codes and cards as well and it wouldn't feel complete without those things.

I had found a S2 Bash at a used game store. They wanted $40 for it. I passed it up, didn't seem worth that price.

Sorry, but I would have to believe, then, that you were confused. My son got into Skylanders when he got Giants for Christmas, last year. They were already gone by then and never returned. It was always taunting that Target kept their displays up for months after advertising him, but never had him. They were up until Jade Flashwing came out. Then that was up until Swap Force, even though she was gone quickly, too. Where did you see the Granite Crushers?

I know a target with granite still up, another with jade up and one with a whirlwind display from SSA still up when they had him for limited time only.
