Before you update today, if you have extra wishing stones, buy up to 4 extra Legendary Halls.

After you update you can get 4 new legendary Skylanders, but the Legendary Halls will start costing gems instead of wishing stones.

I wish I thought of that. have 11 legendary houses, but tons of extra stones. Gonna hold off on the last three legendary houses now.

Nothing you can do about the hall of legends.... automatic update for me as well.

I did travel back in time, but no use. I found out that the regular price for a hall of legends is 500 gems instead of the 200 wish stones before... what a rip off! And only this week at 250 gems, yeah great deal.... NOT!!

I am glad I got 10 houses already, so I am missing 3 more. No chance that'll be buying those with gems.

Luckily there is a new companion that makes you swap every and gold for stones. However I don't know if your can swap at a good price or not... we have to wait and see.

I was lucky, my wife told me about the updates, so I turned my iPad to airplane mode, went in and bought the legendary halls with stones, then came out of airplane mode and got the update.

I was hoping that a couple of people may read this site before they play the game today.

I am kicking myself for not buying more halls of legends sooner... thousands of wish stones and I had only bought six! Oh well, my own fault

Airplane mode didn't even work for me. Must have updated in the background somehow. Now what do I do with all my wish stones? And here, the other day, I was saying not to buy up Halls just in case you need the stones for something else. Silly me. If only I knew they were going to screw it all up. They might as well just stick with gold and wish stone. First kudos is quickly seeming like a failed currency and now wishing stones. Granted we could just dump them all in the well and hope for the best, but since they seemed to make the odds tougher to win anything, it stopped bring fun.

I had 198 stones before this update, I was about to jump on harvest my shrine and get a HoL for my new legendary stealth elf >.<

yep so I threw all my stones into the well I got 1 fishery and 1 tavern though

Arrggh, this is so frustrating! I'm short on 2 HoL's now. If I had know this was going to happen, I would have gotten like 10 of them for future proofing. Now what am I supposed to do with the 4500+ wish stones I have??!!

That is massively disappointing. I was saving stones to buy a legendary house. Seriously way disappointing. Kudos and nothing to do with them now an impact to stones. This game is going down hill.

Too bad......I played late in the morning and it didn't update so I figured it wasn't updating until today. Then I read this post and put it in airplane mode to buy the halls since I have 1700+. But to no avail, somehow it downloaded the update the last time even though it didn't display it. Oh well, I have all the halls for all the current legendary figures anyways......even 4 in storage. Originally I was going to make one of the small islands a legendary island filling every square with a hall but not at that gem price. Oh well, 16 I guess is good considering most didn't even get to buy half that.

There are only 14 legendary skylanders total from SSA, SG and SF. There will be no more legendary released till Skylanders 4 as physical toys. So you are safe with 16 Halls of Legends - you have 2 extra of them and nothing to put into these 2 extra Halls of Legends.

But VV can add alter-ego legendaries at any moment
