Rubble rouser was sent to them by activision. skylanderboyandgirl ordered their lightcores and adventure pack from the Europe.

I think we'd all enjoy seeing that, considering clowns like this make it hard for us to find the characters ourselves when they finally come out. All so he can make a quick buck. tl;dr- no one knows nothing about nothing but everyone believes they know something about everything.

To be fair, besides Stink Bomb, we shouldn't have a problem with stock so "new wave launches" shouldn't really be a big blip on the radar. Stink Bomb will hopefully have plenty to a case, but if not I'd expect more to be released the week right after.

Well, after Christmas, people (ie, kids) will theoretically have money from Santa/Parents/Family. It's actually not a bad idea if it ends up paying off. To me it always seemed like the time around Christmas into the new year was when the figures would disappear altogether and when stores would have a problem of getting/keeping stock on the shelves.

Yeah, I agree with spyroflame0487. Some kids just get money for Christmas so it's a perfect time to get some new Skylanders.

Yeah, but the people who are getting it for Xmas probably have no clue or care much for what 'Wave 3' really even means. They're just going out to get new figures whether it be wave 1 or 2, it's all new to them.

For us, who have been anxiously waiting for Wave 3 it's kind of a bummer that we wont be able to get them before Christmas. My son's been asking about Spy Rise and Stink Bomb for the past few weeks and it's too bad they won't be waiting under the Christmas tree. Sure, it's only a couple of days later but it's not quite the same as playing with your fun new toys on Christmas morning.

I can understand that. But from a business perspective, it means a flourish of new figures on the shelves that have, more than likely, been picked over very well. Adding more this late in the game would be problematic for many folks who have already mapped out their christmas spending.

I don't normally agree with Activision's practices, but this at least makes a little sense.

No disrespect to any of the people here... But take a lil accountability if it applies... All these so called release dates are "okie doke" . I understand everyone enjoys the thrill of the hunt and having as many as possible , but take a minute ! There just toys in the end ! Every store eventually gets them, except for exclusives which become readily available. Everyone swears they know somebody, who knows somebody, who is somebody @ either Target, TRU, Walmart, etc.. "Oh well !", you know them so what? There's really nothing to brag or boast about because nothing is released and until they hit the shelf, STOP ! the he said / she said because its really OLD and these topics are lame as hell with NO RESULTS. Gas, time, money, and possibly a childs "hope" from reading these BS post is lost or wasted. Be real with yourself until you can prove more than one is out and can be verified, STOP with the BS !

Of course that's an option...simply noting it's a miss to release something so close to Christmas but missing the holiday. I guess there's always a line here, just let em VENT.

For those that haven't been on the forums for long, information from Lesty, especially if corroborated by DutRank, is pretty much a slam dunk.
We can say with some conviction now that Target will have the 3 new "swappers" as of 12-29.

Signs are starting to point towards the possibility of Toys R Us stocking the "core" Skylanders from "wave 3" on 12-22. That is unconfirmed at this point. I'm sure we'll get more information toward the end of this week; stay tuned.

Show a pic of what the boxes look like and I will go there right now with my red shirt and khakis on jkjk. It would be so easy to walk in the back, grab a couple boxes and walk out through the loading dock...but I'm not willing to risk jail for skylanders. In all seriousness though, pics would probably stop all this senseless banter.

Apparently, the Swappers won't be out in other stores until mid January.

For those of you who do not know, I recently got a job at Toys R Us, specifically in the R Zone as thier resident Skylander and Infinity expert. As of two days ago, we had no Wave 3 boxes and hadn't heard anything about them.

Now we see the latest rumor as being the 22nd for Core figures and 29th for Swappers (at least the latter at Target). I would like to point out that these dates make A LOT of sense. Why? All Swap Force releases (at least at Toys R Us) have been on Sundays. I am going to work later today. Hopefully we got in something regarding Wave 3 or at least have information on it. I will keep you all updated.

One last thing, I will be able to take pics but I have no idea how to upload them from my iPhone. Well I guess I could always use my 3DS...

Non-Swap wave 3 to be in stock 12/22. No dates for Swappers from wave 3. Seems to confirm what was already written here.

Ok---That 12/22 date could be RIGHT ON. But it is hearsay because as we can read above---TRU employees can and DO make mistakes and they do not make the decisions as to what and when figures are stocked. Please---Let's be careful what we write.

Like I said in another post. My TRU Manager has Wave 3 (With at least 2 new core swap, but no Swappers) with a street date 12/22/2013. Looks like Target will get the jump on Wave 3 Swapper(s) on the 29th if no one else does. It makes me wonder if Walmart, Gamestop and BestBuy will be included in a 30 day exclusive?

Kinda reminds me of how Infinity just did their release: Walmart = Repunzel; BestBuy = Wreck-It Ralph; Target = Vanellope.

There is someone on CAG that is a TRU employee and has been dead-on on everything. I'd trust him for TRU info as much as I'd trust Lesty for Target info. He said they had boxes of core Skylanders with a 12/22 street date, but no swappers. So it does look like 12/22 is the date for wave 3 at TRU.

I called my TRU last nite. Of coarse they know nothing, my TRU is always in the dark with wave releases.

I forget that guy's name, but several other users here (that also visit "CAG", unlike me) have also referenced that Toys R Us employee that tends to be ultra-reliable (unlike most TRU employees). I forget his name; I'll dig it up from my PM archives later if I have time. But if we're talking about the same person, then yes, I agree, he is reliable and has history. Dinoah2005 is also credible. Plus, in a past post, Lesty indicated that the "core" figurines from "wave 3" [b]might[/b] hit stores "a few days before Christmas" ... and 12/22/13 would be consistent with that, too. I'm still not holding my breath, but 12/22/13 is shaping-up to have much more credibility, relatively, compared to the 12-13-13 and 12-15-13 garbage hearsay rumors we saw earlier this month.

No, he mentions CORE SINGLES only have arrived. If they come out then, they might arrive this week (maybe lightcores too). But, don't get your hopes up - Activision may be putting those out early next year instead. The CAG guy is very reliable, he has never been wrong and has given early info many times. He was the guy that gave images of Wave 3 singles last year and case contents and of LC Shroomboom, as early heads up on several Hot Tyo Alerts.

He just said that they have cases of core Skylanders for 12/22, which would not include lightcores or Battle/Adventure packs.

Guys (and Gals), I'm telling you...I know a person who works at a place that sells Skylanders and they just got a case of figures and they're going to put them out! NO STREET DATE! I don't remember his name or what store he works at, but he's never told me wrong! Don't ask for pictures because they already incinerated the boxes and cameras aren't allowed in the store...neither are cellphones. But believe me, this is going to happen! Giants Wave 3 figures will be on the shelves!
