Yes... I have been hugged by one of my crushes. Basically one's own attitude towards it is the main factor that how the incident will affect on one's mind. I usually get friend-zoned quicker than you can imagine so I don't start to bother my mind about meanings of some certain hugs. Hug is a hug and it's simple as that. It's just a physical gesture of being on a good terms with someone.

When you have feelings for the person, and they do too, but you're not together for some reason (often a very distressful and depressing reason), you still tend to......Do things.....When alone together. Ja, but hugging tends to be a regular thing so it's not that exciting. Is more of a greeting hug.

However, I have hugged my crush because she just wanted someone to hold her. The moment she said that I felt that it was more than just a regular hug and it felt really nice to comfort her. Uuuuuuu~
