It's possible Ice Climbers may not return for this one. Awhile back I believe they said there was some issue regarding the multiple character Smashers, such as Ice Climbers, working right on the 3DS and that such characters might get left out entirely.

I'm hoping for another new one. I doubt it would happen though. I wouldn't expect them to give everything away. Then you'd play the game without the surprise of what new characters there are. Still...i just want one more.

It was an official website Sakurai made that pretty much gave everything about SSBB away before anyone got the chance to play it. Everyone's always complaining about that, but the secrets were hidden in spoilers, it was a "proceed at your own risk" sort of thing.

Oh, I see. Well come to think of it I never actually knew about Super Smash Brothers Brawl at the time so I suppose that's why I didn't know. If it happens again though...oh it will be tempting. o.o

Well Yoshi, Ness, and Captain Falco are due for an announcement soon. I suspect Game & Watch will come back.

I'd say Yoshi might be next.


I'd like to see Pokemon Trainer return, but maybe a different trainer with different Pokemon. Maybe Ethan/Gold or Lyra with Chikorita, Croconaw, and Typloshion. Though that may be hindered by the same issue as with Ice Climbers.

What about Jigglypuff?I assume she(not confirmed to be a she) will also return since she was one of the originals.

Game and Watch probably won't make it, even though he's a veteran.


They still need to add more of the flagship veterans (Yoshi, Zelda and Ganon in particular).

I think they'll wait until that new 3DS Yoshi's Island is getting closer to release to announce Yoshi as playable. Seems like a pretty good marketing strategy. I'd say the same would go for any other Kirby characters with Kirby Triple Deluxe due out down the road. <.<

I have an idea, if they do Calum or Serena give them 3 pokemon that could mega evolve and for the final smash whoever was out could mega evolve and get a large boost in power

Jigglypuff and Mr. Game & Watch only became veterans because Jigglypuff was from the initial 12 of the original game, and Mr. Game & Watch was very well received, plus he is an important part of Nintendo history to boot.

R.O.B. was quite powerful, even though no one used him.

Game & Watch is just a.. very odd character. He's very tough to handle correctly.

Both of them were in my top 5 best characters.

I know he isn't returning very well, that was the point to "I can dream can't I". Kirby, ROB, and Game & Watch are my 3 favs.

But there may be many Pokemon that could take its spot but hey like to use well known Pokemon such as Jigglypuff who is like the 4th most recognizable Pokemon after Pikachu,Mewtwo and Charizard.They could also give it a new moveset since it is now a fairy type.Plus even though one of the most UU Pokemon in smash,hardcore fans could get pretty PO at Nintendo.

I'm not saying I hate R.O.B, I thought he was interesting (ESPECIALLY if you play Project M...by the way, I have been playing Project M. It's amazing). I just don't see any reason why they would bring him back. Nobody is asking for him, and we already have the character nobody asked for in Wii Fit Trainer (but she was well received). Granted, I can see why people may dislike R.O.B in vanilla Brawl. Then again, I can see why people dislike Sonic in vanilla Brawl, and he's my main in vanilla Brawl and Project M.
