God, when will you understand that it's an opinion, not a fact, because not everyone prefers it. In fact, I know about 20 others besides myself who agree. IT IS AN OPINION. NOT A FACT.
It's more common for people to like higher 'resolution,' but that doesn't make it a fact, it's still an opinion.
Maybe you should listen to your own advice.

Fact - is something that has really occurred or is actually the case. The usual test for a statement of fact is verifiability, that is whether it can be proven to correspond to experience. You cannot verify that everyone agrees to 1080 being better, because not everyone agrees, making it an opinion.

Can we just agree to drop the debate? No more arguing even if you haven't said all the points you want to make/other person still doesn't see your point of view. Given the nature of the subject, it is not going to harm you in the long run if the other person doesn't see eye-to-eye with you.

HD is five times sharper than Standard Definition. HD makes for finer detail, and more detail. In videos, it can make the editing process and colour correction easier because variation is easier to control, but is more costly to produce generally.
