Can we stop making topics? We have WAY TOO MANY Wave 3 topics already.

And the 29th is the date for the Swappers.

If someone would finally confirm with proof whats happening tomorrow, I think the speculation will end. Otherwise, after tomorrow's supposed TRU event it will also end.

As I've seen the adds from this coming Sunday paper for all the major retailers, I can say for sure there will not be any of the new wave. The only real change is that both Walmart and TRU have now advertised that they have Jolly Bumble Blast.
On a side note for anyone looking for deals next week starting this Sunday check TRU. They Swap Force adventure/battle/3-packs for 19.99 and swappers for 2 for 22. And if for some reason you need any SSA stuff they have them BOGO.

I know a guy that works shipment at TRU and they have had wave 3 for a few days now and do not sell before date is 12/15

I checked My TRU that I work at and we have nothing new. Did see new triple packs at Target I have not seen before.

I too work at Toys R Us, and as of yesterday, we had no stock of Wave 3 and have heard nothing about it coming any time soon. I will keep you all posted on if I hear anything on it or not.

That's good to know, and having this data point especially once you see paperwork or W3 boxes littering the store would be good know as a piece of data.

I spoke with the TRU Manager last night and found out that he has wave 3 in his store with a street date of 12/22/2013. The only bad part about it is there is no Swappers included. He said that he noticed 2 new characters but they were not swappers (i.e. DuneBug). He said that he heard that the 29th should be a swapper coming out then. Dont take his word on the 29th, take Lesty's. but as for the 22nd, I believe him and will be there bright and early. He has always been my source and has been very accurate in the past. Yes, there are things that he does not know but because of this web site, I am able to tell him things about up coming events. You know, I scratch his back, he scratches mine...

The 22nd and 29th actually make perfect sense to me. Why? All Swap Froce releases (at least at Toys R Us) have been on Sundays. I am going to work later today. Hopefully we got in something regarding Wave 3.

Sorry checked a few TRU and not a single thing new! The 2 managers I spoke with said 12/22 all of wave 3 will be out. I was also told "by a nod of the head yes" that they do have a couple wave 3 boxes in already.

My guess is they are allowed to sell wave 3 but are waiting on more boxes and maybe the new weekly flyer to circulate?? On the other hand IDK why they did not allow me to see/ purchase a few unless they did not want to be bothered unboxing them now.

Now I'm wondering if these are the two lightcores only. I seem to recall a partial W3 shipment last year...kinda makes sense.

22nd....29th...everyone has different dates! My tru had no clue about any wave 3...will it be in tru weekly ad when it does come out and why is someone saying that target is going to release them first!

Like I said the managers both said at 2 different locations the 22nd and one employee has said they had received partial shipment "by the nod of a head".... I guess he is not allowed to outright say lol. Either way I will be checking in on a few TRU every day or 2 and see if I find anything, Sometimes the seasonal employees mess up and stock the shelves with things that are street dated. If I find anything I will let you guys know ASAP. Trexroarr please let us know if you see anything come threw.

I have noticed those who consistently have reliable information tend to word their tips NOT saying they are 100% for sure.
Then the people who pass on what they likely to believe reliable good tips--word their information as if it IS 100% for sure.

Could we have one topic per release where people can speculate and pass on their info they get from their friends Sister's uncle? (I understand that the majority of people have the best intentions when passing on information and are trying to help.)

Could we ALL refrain from language that implies confirmed information unless it actually is confirmed---officially? (Even if we feel it is a reliable source, it is still speculation.)

Then there are the inevitable people who want to be first in reporting something. It isn't a competition. In my opinion, we are all here to share info to try to help each other. Is it fun find something new to share? Of course it is, but not at the risk of reporting incorrect information. Do yourself and the rest of us a favor and if you are excited to share something--do so WITHOUT saying it is 100% fact unless it IS.

I was at Toys R Us this evening. I asked if they had anything new in back and he brought me to the room to look. There was nothing there. He then checked his computer and said there was nothing confirmed there either. He said he had been told that new figures wouldn't be there until after Christmas. This is just the info I was told by a TRU manager. So, other than having personally looked in the back room and seeing that there were no boxes labeled Wave 3--the rest of the info is just speculation.

If you look back for the past 2 years I have provided reliable information and most of it is from this manager at TRU. Gameboy, as for why they will not let you purchase them, is because they have a street date of 12/22/2013.

Dinoah2005---I wasn't referring to your post. It was a culmination of reading these threads about release dates. I see people who are new claiming to "KNOW" dates. And--we see--they weren't correct. I believe people have good intentions. I just wish they would use words that say that they "think" or they "heard" or "from a manager." I have seen that you have consistently reliable info.

Thank you and as per what you said it does line up with what I was told by 2 managers I spoke with.

As for the other user that claims they took him to the back room..... That is a huge LP violation and if you reported that guy he could loose his job on the spot. Also I have worked at TRU before and I can tell you if they showed you the receiving back area its always empty except shipment days. From that area there usually is a big double pallet elevator that leads up to the "attic" warehouse/back-stock area where they hold all the boxes sorted by zones, that's where they keep dated boxes.

Either way I feel like everyone here is just sharing what they have been told this way we can all combine what we hear from sources on here and try to guess. Based on what I have been told and seen on here my guess is..... Big flagship TRU have started to get in shipments to store for a release date of 12/22 and swappers will be out some dateafter Christmas "12/29 has been stated many time".

I am 100% sure that Wave 3 will be out EVENTUALLY.

As for Gameboys, you don't have enough creditability on this sites as of yet so you are going to be questioned, especially when you state things that disagree with others that have been here with pretty good credit.

As for allowing to go in the back to see a box... I have had 2 incidents where one, I was allowed to go in the back of a Kmart storage room to see what they had because they were set on the storage shelf and not in a box and was easier to see what they had in the back then for them to bring them out in a shopping cart (I was looking for chase variants - they had none).

The second had to do with Giants Launch date. The same manager at TRU told me that they had some Series 2 boxes that they could not sell until day 2 of Giants and was not sure, kind-of odd to him. I questioned the Series 2 and mentioned that it probably said Wave 2 on the box. He looked puzzled and went in the back. About 5 minutes later (I was loading my cart with Wave 1 of Giants) he came out with one of the Wave 2 boxes and I showed him how the W-2 stood for Wave 2. Since that day he has been very helpful as I to him and he was very helpful during Swap Force release with all my coupons and free stuff I got. So when he says he has Wave 3 (minus Swappers) I believe him, way more than what you and your 2 managers say.
