I would like to update, except that my internet connection is having issues. It even said the computer was offline when I logged on. I wonder what is going on...

Went though what seemed like a nhour going through updates then setting up the Network ID and various settings/user agreements regarding it. Then after going through all that, all MiiVerse turns out to be is some forum that doesn't even seem all that great. On top of that, aftr the update, any time I try to vists the eShop, it gives an error and won't allow me to access it.

Remind me why I'm supposed to be excited for this?

i did update but I'm still having problems with updating Streetpass and I can't access the eShop. from articles I've read I'm guessing a ton of people are having this same problem.

I'm having the eShop issue as well, thought it was a server issue at first but guess not.

(Haven't linked my Miiverse account to my 3DS yet.)

Yes, the eshop thing is a server issue - due to the fact it links the Wii U and 3DS accounts, so entering the eshop does the sync/connecting to find the purchase data over both consoles. With loads of people doing this, it will cause a strain on the servers, so may be better to wait a couple of days for everything to calm down.

^That issue seems to be fixed now. It all worked out for me when I updated last night.

The update is great, though they still need to add friend requests and messaging.

And bring back the screenshot saving for web browser Miiverse. >.>
