Dosn't the name "Avalar" sound like it came from somewhere? [CLOSED]

I don't know. I thought about it, but I can't think of where that name came from. I could have sworn that I heard it from a TV show or something.

Hmm. Well, it reminded me of this Christian group called "Avalon", but not sure. That's the only thing that sounds close to Avalar to me, but yeah, also the dragon Alvar in STD...

I hear "Avalon" in a lot of places, like a nearby school. I've been looking for but never found the name "Avalar" anywhere.

Avalon is just a name I saw on an animated series when I was young. Not telling the title...long story.

In wiki they write that "Avalar's name may have been derived from the legendary island Avalon." And the "Avalon is a legendary island featured in the Arthurian legend, famous for its beautiful apples"

It's never felt familiar to me because I'd never heard of the word 'avatar' or anything similar at the time. Infact I always loved the name Avalar for a region and I wish my friend didnt have my damn Spyro 2 copy right now. He'll probbaly give it back with disk scratches and finger marks like he used to do.. sigh.

Avalar most likely came from some kind of fantasy thing called "Avalon"
