No, the Wii can't handle the Wii U's graphic engine, it would crash the system.

It would be upscaled, so it would look a tiny bit better, but nowhere near as good as the Wii U.

Why does my wii version look like the wii U version (in quality) even though it is the wii version o.o

Also why isn't this in the skylander threads? (Seems like it should be considered being moved)

Because he wasn't asking a question about skylanders but a question about the compatibility between two consoles

Yes, DragonCamo. The Wii U is the only "next-gen" console (in quotation marks because the Wii U, PS4 and XBOX ONE are all current-gen now, really) with backwards compatibility, so you can play all Wii games and use all Wii controllers and peripherals on the Wii U. :D
